Thank you for posting that. I had it installed from the original file upload. It looked just fine in FireFox.

Then, I wanted to check something else in IE, and when I loaded up my forum. I had all the quicklinks displayed under the nav bar and the additional navbar was no where to be found.

That fix resolved the issue.

Opens in the same page works on my end.

After taking a look at the image you posted, the only difference I see between setups is that for the 'link url' I use the entire unc name instead of just the php page name.

Such as: http://www.xxx.com/forums/index.php?page=xyzz

instead of: index.php?page=xyzz

Quick question - my navbar is currently pretty customized. Will this make any edits to the existing navbar row?

After I select New Post and I get the window that reads out:

"Sorry, there are no new threads to view.

You may search for threads updated during the previous 24 hours, here."

This navbar has vanished.

I actually am having the same problem - whether I use the full URL or just the last bit, if I select Open in the Same Page, it opens in a new window every time in IE and Firefox for myself and my forum members.

nope it just gives you option to create new one wherever you put the $adv_navbars variable..

Nope the one you posted link is different release. It only supports # of links how many spaces are there.. This hack/plugin/mod on the other hand you can have numerous navbars with as much links you can fit on them. Also you can place the navbar anywhere you put the $variable in templates.

BTW.. this works fine with vb 3.6.0 Gold Release.
