The term "VBexperience" may mean something to me as a vb admin, but it won't to the end users of our forums. That being said, can you please let us know whether or not the "VBexperience" text that appears can be phrased out or customized? Thanks. |
Your questions sounded like you already installed it. Yes, it's my desire to have it "installed" from everyone who is using it. Nobody must pay for this in EUR/Dollar/etc..., but I only support people who are willing to support me.
As for your question: All Strings are phrased. |

Hey Phal. I'm testing this out now. Are there any detailed instructions anywhere on how to use the shop, add items, images, etc? When testing this out, all it says is "you don't have any items" but it does not tell the user how to get items, etc. If I'm missing something, please let me know. Thanks a bunch.

You will have to setuo categories and items in AdminCP/vBExperience/Manage Shop.

BEAUTIFUL mod. I'm going to be able to do some VERY creative things with my ranking system with this hack. I really appreciate it Phalynx. Thank you for all your hard work you put into this -- I can only imagine.
A question though -- is there any way the vBExperience variables (like level) could be used in the ranking system? For instance, when someone hits rank 11, their rank moves up (currently rank can only be defined by post count) If so, awesome. If not, oh well. :p |
No, currently you cannot combine vBulletin's Ranking with vBExperience. You will need to edit level promotions via XLS or XML.
In 3.7.15 I already implemented a log for all users. "User X promoted to Y". Maybe with 3.7.16 I will introduce a GUI for vBExperience Promotions. |
The level up bar (blue bar) is showing your current points / max point at highest lvl * 100%. Wouldn't it be better if it's showing your progress to the next level instead, like in most RPG games.
For example: http://www.insidesupcom.de/member.php?u=170 At the moment I'm writing this, the member only needs 5 more points to the next level. But the bar shows as 19% level up. The way it should behave, IMO is (user_points - current_lvl_min_points) / (next_lvl_min_points - current_lvl_min_points) * 100%. So assuming it takes 100 points to level up, the blue bar should show as 95% to that member. If the design is intentional, then there's really no point of the blue bar, since the value will be equal or close to the orange bar (your level progression to the max lvl). |

side note...I also agree with what Zen said above. |
