probably going to be the dumbest question on here, im failing at the installation script running index.php says i need to be an administrator but im logged in on my control panel for vb as one and on the forum itself, any ideas?

inciarco, the communities system is not meant to be managed by individual forums. Zoints is built around a network aspect, not just with our social network but with forums as well. I can't speak for every forum, but I have not heard any horror stories about forums losing members due to Zoints. Personally, I think the effect the communities button has had is pretty neutral as I can speak from my own personal experience of gaining a few 'straggler' type of posters while losing a few (although I do not know if they left for a forum on Zoints.)

It depends on which one you feel is best for your site, you can disable blogging from Zoints if you feel that the vBulletin blog. There is no way to synergize or combine the two though. To disable the blogging page, you can access it in the ZAdmin at the Pages section, if you need more help on this, let me know.

Since you're not giving the actual URL, I am having a bit of trouble understanding the problem. If you are not comfortable with posting the URL here, could you please open up a ticket at:

Hi Kshitij, have you searched at network.zoints.com yet? I believe there were similar issues in the past but you would have a better idea if it fits your situation. If you have tried or rather would prefer, we can help you out, just open a ticket up at the support forums.

You cannot remove that, doing so would be a violation of using Zoints Local. If you don't believe it will fit with your forums as is, I hope you find a solution that works for your site.

Yep, unfortunately that is a problem we're hoping to tackle in the future. I apolozie for your troubles and should we have a solution for this in the future, it will be posted both here and at our support forums.

How would I get rid of the My Interests section entirely off my profile?

Also, is there another way to get directly into my profile? for example, a MY ZOINTS PROFILE link on the navigation bar of my forum?

Simply click X to remove it from your profile. If you don't want ANYONE to have it on your site, login into your ZAdmin, click Pages, click Edit Block Layout at the Profile section, then click X on My Interests, that will move the My Interests to the Inactive blocks from which you can make it a disabled block (for all users.)

Have you installed the vB Product? If so, there should be a Zoints dropdown that includes a my profile type of link. If this did not show up, consult the readme text with the vB Product download to see how to do it manually (if you cannot, open up a ticket with us and I'll do it for you.)

The Photo Album is just a place holding code actually as we weren't satisfied with the solution we had. Some who have PhotoPost for example are able to integrate it into Zoints Profiles pretty nicely thanks to third party developments (at dev.zoints.com.)

I'm having some trouble. When I log into my zadmin, and go to pages, I don't see an Edit Block button of any sort. Here's a screenshot of my zadmin. Is there something I am missing or not installed correclty?

I am glad to help entreplanet. From the page you are on, you'll see that there are dropdowns to the right of the page names. At the dropdown, select "Edit Block Layout" and click Go. From there you can edit the block layouts and what blocks are active by default, available or unavailable.

Hi Reid, thanks for quick reply. You mentioned in your previous post that there is a "My Interest" block that I can remove. I am not finding that on my page...I see all the others (my homepage, my profile, etc.) but no My Interests.
