Bug: When I Updated to the New Version, the Usernames on the Chat Messages where Gone, and Only New Messages Showed the Username of the Poster. :confused:

Bug: Also, When Trying to Edit a Posted Chat Message on the ChatBox, the Message doesn't Return to the Normal Not Edit View, and When I Try Immediately to Edit another Message and Cancel the Edit the Second Message Gets the Text of the First Edited One.

First Bug Corrected with the Update Script as Instructed on the New Update Instructions. :up:

But the Second Bug is There; When Editing a Message and Clicking Out of the Edit Box of the Message, the Edit Box Don't Change Back to Normal View Of the Post. :( :confused:

When Trying to Edit a Second Message, the First Post (with Edit Box Still Activated), Activates, and No Matter What I Write on the Second Box, if I Click Outside or I Type Enter, the 2 Boxes Still Activated; when I Change to Chat History I can see that the Second Post takes the same Message than the First One. :confused:

Also, When I Click on the Refresh Button while with the Edit Boxes, No Refresh Takes Place and the Boxes are Still There.

I'm running the ChatBox on vB 373, and I also Noticed (previous to Update to New Version), that this Bug comes from the Last Version, (I haven't Edited Messages and I usually do it on the History so that's why I haven't reported this Bug Before).

I Checked on FireFox, on Internet Explorer and on Chrome, and the same Error Happens on All of them.

I Hope You Can Reproduce this Bug and Correct it on your Next Update. ;)

Edit 1: I Remembered that I Had the "Automatic refresh activation" Option Set to "No" and the "Refresh rate in seconds" set to Zero "0"; I set the first Option to "Yes" and the Second One to a Number of Seconds (30), and then the Edits Worked Fine.

I Think that's Still a Bug There because the Message Edits Should Update No Matter if the Automatic Refresh Activation is set to "No" and/or the "Refresh rate in seconds" is set to Zero "0" (Deactivated), because is an Edit, and the Refresh Button is Present (I'm Supossed to Refresh the ChatVox With It). ;)

Edit 2 (Partial Solution): If I Set the "Automatic refresh activation" Option Set to "No" and the "Refresh rate in seconds" to a Number Different than Zero "0" for Admin Usergroup, I noticed that Edits Can be Done Well and the ChatBox is Refreshed after Each Post Edit. :up:

But Still is Important that You Check Why if "Refresh rate in seconds" is set to Zero "0" the ChatBox Doesn't Refresh After an Edit and the Errors I mentioned Before my First Edit to this Post, are Happening. :confused:

they are gif images and i type elites, and the file is elites.gif, but they won't show.

Remove the List of the other forum pages option

so have you a set of 3 images:

I had the same problem as you then removed the list of otehr pages (arcade,casino) and now it works ok

yeah all edits are in place was working fine before the update, removed the list added list tried both options variable and nav bar position still nothing.

I changed the name of the file but any way I type the name into to channel path it wont display, tried multiple ways in the channel cp.

each image is in 3 parts, if you look at the others you will see what i mean,
upload your image to /yourforum/images/misc/mgc_cb_evo/channels/

Bug: I Just Noticed that when I Try to Apply a Bold or an Italic or an Underline, and also when I try to Apply a Color, it Applies it to All the Chat Message, even if I'm selecting the Words I'd like to Apply it to. :(

Have you corrected the bugs as per explained in the bug list in the first post ?

So If I summarize your bug :

1. You have refresh rate to 0 but automatic refresh to off
2. You edit 1 chat
3. You edit a 2nd chat while first still being as input
4. You then have the You get 2 boxes and none updates

Well you'd have to develop it coz it's not coded in the chatbox.

Well I think it's totally unuseful to be able to do it for only a small part of the text as honestly due to the chatbox input size it's bearly unreadable.
However if other requests for such thing I might change my advice.

Many problems are solved with latest version. BUT.... my editor-box are BOTTOM, and NEWER chats are BOTTOM, and sometimes new chats not show correctly (I need to move slidebar to see it). Problem is beacuse thisproblem is not always, and I'm confused?!

@VBDev: Can you test your chat with this settings (editor - BOTTOM, new chats - BOTTOM) couple of days and maybee with diferent browsers? Maybee you'll have similar problem? Or anybody else who use this settings???

I just see this bug.... New option Memorize chats formatting chosen by users in the chatbox is YES. When I change SIZE of font, I cannot return it to DEFAULT value until I go to UserCP -> Edit Options, and on bottom (chat options) return to defaults!!! Maybee it's simmilar error with some other BB code(s)...

And if I this option turn to NO, my chats are NOT FORMATED!?

Well just tested and it works ! I think you haven't set correctly the options.

Here is how I did it :

In display and position options I have set Show the chatbox on all pages below the navbar to Yes then in the page list field I have put usercp,profile,private,online

And chatbox is shown in my usercp pages and in the whosonline.

ive set it to that and still nothing :S and my users r still having probs with it not refreshing :S

I appreciate the work you have put into this mod, however I am confused as to why the listings inthe AdminCP and some of the other options are in French still? It makes it fairly difficult to navigate through the options.

I have uploaded the language file, and most of it is in english but there are still some options that only have the french language for them.
