What was the trouble you had with your site to begin with? You said something about your host. Did you try the basic troubleshooting methods, like resyncing your file cache and making sure your amecache folder is still 777?

I have run a test on my forum to convert URLs!

Would it be a problem, that somethings linke this is the result?

That is what the conversion is supposed to do. Convert video URLs to use the AME tags.

i just resynched the file cache, and i checked the file permission...moved a new server, and it was 755 so i put it to 777 then resynce. then there is 2 new files in that folder amecache, but no videos showing up in threads still... ;(

does this work with twitvid?

And when you moved servers, you made sure the path to the new amecache folder was still set right, correct? And everything else is correct, AME is active and extraction is turned on and all that jazz. Maybe you just need to reinstall AME as if you were doing an upgrade.

As for twitvid, I'd have to look at it. You can make a request at the link in my Add On thread.

When upgrading to latest version and after importing the product, i get the following screen for a LONG time. Did it properly import or did I have to wait longer for a complete message?

It can take a while in some cases, but it should stop and refresh eventually.

Hmm.. I guess ill have to try it again. What could have happened if I didn't wait for it to refresh and just went to another page?
