Confused. What does "auto refresh" do ...? seems like even if I have it set for 240 seconds, or whatever, if someone posts a message it immediately shows up on my end.

Perhaps I don't understand the concept?

is there any way to have the chat hosted by a different server and still integrate?

The question eating away at you? Seems to me since this is AJAX the auto-refresh simply polls the box every x seconds and if there's a new post it shows you.

If you've done exhaustive testing and know for a fact that you can see other people's posts as soon as they post them (and not x seconds later), then perhaps there was a code change at some point.

It's easy to check, ... just log into your forum with two different browsers (firefox and IE, for example) and two different user names ... and see for yourself. If I have it set for 10 minutes, I still see the posts within seconds.

Can you put like a sound alert or a visual alert of when people post messages. And I would like to see a list of active users on the condensed version (not the CBfull)
