As for your problems regarding hacks, it sounds like you need to get someone more in touch with MySQL and PHP to fix it for you.

That is the phrase you want.

In the install file they left out 'group_.

With this hack, can the index.php be renamed to something like main.php and everything still work?

everything is working fine, but i noticed a little error.
This error only shows up, if the user is not logged in or a guest (unregitered user).

The Error:
The page loads normally, but a script error is reported in IE v6.0 on line 2. You know the script Errors reported in IE, you can klick on details or klick OK so the browser will go on, the page still loads and the content is showing without problems, but this message is slicky for first time visitors .. they see an error and are closing the page ..
If users are logged in, no script error message is reported, also in the bottomline of the brwoser nothing is reported .. only guests or not logged in users get this error.

It says something from undefined ... error on line 2

i have no idea what this can be, please help me out to kill this little bug/error

Does anyone have a query set up to pull the last posts from the DB rather than the original thread?

I want to highlight a couple of forums, and have the most recent post & posters info show up rather than the original post from thread, as many of them are well outdated, and not always related to most recent posts.

Any Ideas??????? TIA

Two quick questions for those that are using the CMPS or are familiar with it:

1. If I post an image to the thread will it show in the news section of the front page?

2. If I have a thread thats news worthy in one of the forums, can I select that and have it appear on the news section of the main page?
