i installed the system without error on a 3.5.2 german. Unfortunatly when called
http://www.swishzone.de/donate.php I see not the paypal-buttons and dont found where can i select which count of donation i offer... in the docs are not included :surprised: ... what must i do?

you need to create GOALS and then create a donate BUTTON to attach to that goal. when you set up the BUTTON, you'll be able to define a set donation amount or leave it at 0.00 for the user to manually select a donation amount.

seems I too stupid... where can i create goals? On paypal-account?

I have no menu on the left site on vbadmin to configure donations?
Only in the settings can edit globla things ... vbadvanced colors, paypal-email ....etc.

How can i administrate the donations?

I have the same problem as above...No admin section for donate except the main settings colours etc. I would be grateful for a little assistance. I have double checked and I believe I have followed instructions to the letter, with no errors?

Would it be too much to ask for a Vbulletin.org moderator to update this unsupported and abandoned hack to include the ONE CHARACTER typo change that would resolve 99% of the problems posted in this thread?

Something needs to be done so this hack can move beyond this admincp problem (the solution to which has been repeated here ad nauseum).

I think if there were less of these questions then people could actually work on improving all of the other parts of the script that are broken.

...or at least put a link in the start to a post with all changes we have to do to get it work with 3.5.4.

PayPal Donations Menu within AdminCP is missing because of the following bad code in the cpnav_paypal_donations.xml file.

Make it read:

Notice the lower case "b".

you need to edit the big B to a small b in your xml file... read the thread for more on that.

I've edited the cpnav file and re-uploaded the zip.

For future reference, please remember that staff do not read every single post in every single modification thread. The only reason we saw this was because someone took the time to contact us. :)
