When I did the info.php thing to get the proper path, it doesn't give me a _SERVER["PATH_TRANSLATED"] to get the proper path. I'm not sure what to put on line 77 of the adv_index.php

yes, but the chdir line which needs to be edited is only a few lines from the begining of the file.

Right, on line 15. But when I did that, I get the above error which says there is a problem on line 77.

I have a question in the read me it says to in the includes/adminfunctions_template.php to find 'forumhome' => $vbphrase['forum_home'], I can only find this 'forumhome' => $vbphrase['group_forum_home'] I was wondering if anyone could help me i searched using the find and everything can anyone help.

Well i got it installed on my site however i am running into a few questions/probelms.

1. go to www.gpfanatix.com and for some reason the blocks on the right hand side are squeezing in toward the middle? How can this be fixed?
2. How am i able to edit the custom boxes? I dont see anywhere in the admin cp. Any ideas?

You havent added a forum to get news from, and you can edit the custom boxes from the AdminCP's style manager
