There's a problem with the 'display options' function on the journals index page. It works for the first page, but 2nd and subsequent pages use the default options.

I've reported it as a bug, because we get the same problem on our main and test forums. Anyone get the same problem and managed to sort it if they did?

I am trying to see if I can show the members profile pic instread of an avatar, also if no profile pic exist to show a defualt image.

Also I noticed that in the Now Playing line if you enter the url to a .wmv file it just show s the link. Is there a way to actually play the
file within the journal.

Is the swear filter able to be used in vbjournal? I tried a few and it wasn't censoring anything in the journal.

One other thing, i noticed there is no "report" option if a user wanted to report an entry. Option is turned on and all other featured appear to work just great. I searched the thread but nothing found on it, any info please let me know.

I feel stupid - I installed the journal, everything seemed to go ok, but everone get the "you do not have permission to access this page" I have been all over the usergroup manager and can find nothing about journal permissions - help!!

I did find a setting in the "Administrator Permissions" for "Can Administer vB Journal" but every time I set it for yes and save it, it goes right back to no - what am I doing wrong?

I have a question if i check the box to make it private and the ones to have my friends view it do I have to put all my friends names in the text box below? or is that just for names not on ur buddy list?

I am having this problem too and do not know if it is an actual bug or if I'm just not getting the permissions right somewhere. but instead of showing new post and new reputation comment, showing new journals and new journals entry

i have nothing which announce new entry, so people must look journal everyday so see if there is an update and its a bit boring ;)
