My BIG request here would be if somehow it would use the "FlashWindow" function to highlight the taskbar icon everytime a new message is posted. In my case, we run a "stock tips" message board and the users are mainly on their trading sites and need a way to "visually be notified" if a new "chat" has been posted.

I´m using this Mod and it´s awesome. My members are enjoying it and it´s easy to use too. However I have a small issue with IE 8.

When i´m posting/editing etc. a thread, the text box acts really weired when hovering with the mouse over it. If I uninstall the Chat Mod, everything is fine. I don´t know if this is an explicit IE8 issue or general issue.

It´s like you wanna place the cursor with your mouse but instead the box scrolls up or down. Really weired. Someone else experienced this?

How would I display the chatbox on a subsection of the Index rather than on the index itself?

Today I tried to unbanned a user, and i get this error on top of chatbox..

anyway to keep boots out ?

I keep getting bots to access the CB and it causes DB errors

It probably is a syntax error. Check any edits you made, maybe try re-uploading the mod files. It could also be coming from another mod.

If you don't let bots register and you don't let unregistered post/see the CB, then you won't have a problem. Consider changing your registration Q&A. Verify under Permissions that "Usergroups able to view ChatBox but not post messages" includes Guests, etc.

its set that way already
