Help please...it only happens when i open journal.php. and its only when the permissions to view the journal are set to on, if you have no permissions to view it then it opens...cept with the no permission message.
also i wanted to add that the server for the journal is load shared or whatever it called. that means i have to load stuff up to two places.


does that have anything to do with my errors? i really need DA HELP~! here

I'm running vBulletin 3.5.4, MySQL 4.1.11, PHPMyAdmin 2.6.2. And as an addendum, the things I've done above are the extent of my knowledge. I know enough about HTML to copy/paste where I'm told, and that's it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i got through about half of this thread but i just don't have time to read it all.

can anyone confirm this to work on mysql 4.1.18 ?

Also, why won't it work on php5? everything that works in 4 should work in 5. is it a particular function set?

I've looked through the entire thread to sort different issues on our server, but that comes up several times I think. On the lines where it occurs you need to put single quotes around the word 'private' which is between the square bracket. Hope that helps you :)

Lots of things are repeatedly asked. (are there screenshots, when's the next version, does it work with vBxxx/MySQLyyyy/PHPzzzz etc.) Maybe a FAQ in the download, or on that large download/description header?
Incidentally, there wouldn't be 75 pages, if the download details weren't repeated on every page. Are there many people wouldn't have the sense to go to the beginning of a thread for a download?

Just wandering if anyone can help me here, I have just installed vbjournal and it works a treat. Except!! When you specify for a particular user or your 'journal buddys' to be able to view your journal or journal entry, EVERYONE can view it. Any thoughts on why this is?

I have installed Journal onto VB 3.5.4 after having it running on a previous version and am trying to import the old database tables so that my users dont have to post everythin again.

when a journal entry has no name it wont display a link to it is there any fix?
