Because that's how vBulletin works :)
You need to choose the product in the "Product" dropdown to get custom changes to non-vBulletin templates :)

When I tried to import the xml it says this:

/home/masterp0/public_html/forum/dbtech/thanks/includes/class_install.php appears to be missing!

I checked the folder but it's there and it's saying it's not,

Anyway to tell me what to do o.O?

Please ensure you've not accidentally uploaded the "upload" folder but rather the contents of that folder :)
