Is there a way to clear out the selection of the "Forum" navbar as the active one... (so I can create it's own tab)

should i be freaked out if there are like over a hundred visitors on my site and 95% of them are viewing the chatbox archive??? isn't that weird? it is like this often.

is there any way to prevent guests from accessing the chatbox archive pages even if i make it the chatbox not viewable to them?

should i not care that they're viewing the chatbox archive? i am so confused because i have so much content (good threads) and how are they all looking at the chat archive?

edit: just saw that i am not the first with this problem and it is likely bots... So what happens when my numbers jump to a hundred is i have usually tweetmeme'd, dugg, and shared on facebook... i do that a lot... but how does this corrollate to the chat archive?

Apolofies if this has been answered before, but I've been arguing with my site to try and get the chatbox to disply on all pages.
No matter what combo/use of manual template edits what ever.
the MAIN place I want it tho is at the bottom of the 'New Posts' etc search pages

You know that "apologies if this has been answered before" or "topic too long for me to read" may look good in a post, but for anyone who follows a topic, what we read is "I'm too lazy to do a proper search for what I want, help me out anyway"? Just a thought. Seeing waay too many posts in this forum lately where someone leads in that way, and I know for a fact that the answer is already here, if you bother to look.

Anyway. I'm bored so I'll reply this time. What you're asking for is actually one of the easier things to do with the add-on.

To make the ChatBox show up on every forum page:

• Open the control panel
• Options -> VSa ChatBox
• "Show ChatBox on pages" - this entry should be blank
• "Show ChatBox in templates" by default this includes "FORUMHOME" which should be sufficient. If you have problems with a specific custom page, you can add additional templates if necessary.
• "Position on page" - to have the ChatBox at the bottom of the page, the easiest way to do this would be set it to "Above Footer".
• Save changes

You can also mess around with more customized placements if you want to edit the templates yourself. If you want to keep it simple, this is how I'd do it.
