Yup I've noticed that bug on some forums also...

so is there a fix for this Psionic Vision I ask this question before i bought your hack, and you say it work. if this doesn't work then it just like the other free hack

Yes, there definitely is a fix. The fix will be included in the next version of the hack (2.5.1).

Hey, can someone help me please? I just updated my vBulletin 3.0.5 to 3.5.4. I had the old HIDE Hack resurrection, V1.12, already installed before. But now when I try to install it in the new vbulletin I get this error:

What do I do? Please hurry as I need the hide tags fast... And to install the hack i edited the php and js files in the guide with front page 2005 then installed the hack via the lugins page in the admincp... And now the hack isn't working at all and even the buttons aren't showing the in editiors. Where the hidden items should be is just the commands now... IE: [*hide]Supposed to be hidden...[/hide*]

That can happen if you have just upgraded to vb3.5.x... Please run the following query:

[SQL]DELETE FROM setting WHERE varname = 'hidetag_defaultposts' OR varname = 'enable_hide_tag' OR varname = 'enable_showtogroups_tag'[/SQL]

Then re-install the product xml and you should be fine.

Its aking me, "You have to choose at least one Column to display." What do I do? I am using PHPMyadmin BTW. Should it install fine after this problem is removed?

You need to run this query using vBulletin Query page.

Although it does not matter, run this query:

[SQL]DELETE FROM setting WHERE varname = 'hidetag_defaultcolor'[/SQL]

If you don't, it will just stay there and will have no effect, so in order to unclutter the page and rid yourself of the useless box - run the query.

Thanks bud... One more quick thing... How do I change the color of the text? That option is missing in this version?

You don't need to change it, because now the output is inside a box similar to the one generated by the quote tag. Which, essentially, makes the hack's output compatible with more designs.

Is there anyway to remove the pop-up that says, "Please enter the option for your HIDE tag?" I just want it to place the hide tag around the object I have highlighted wth the default number of posts instead of asking me everytime? Meaning I would like it to ack like the bold icon or the underline? Is it possible?

Yes, the only thing the .js file modifcation does is create the popup (which I, personally, like - but if you don't, then remove it).

Both editions of the hack have been updated to 2.5.1.

Current customers of the Expanded Edition:
