I really want to install this but I need page 1, page 2 that long list is a killer. and is there a hack to have ftp uploads? that would be a solution to fix the upload php problem.

these two things are really prohibiting me.

Is there a way to play flash videos (swf) files? I have some music videos but they are .swf files. They are able to be uploaded but it only plays the audio and no video. Is it possible to change a piece of coding in VB Jukebox to make this work? Any help is appreciated.

is there unlimited categories with unlimited subcategories which has the same style and features like forum categories and subforum?

So far I have around 7 categories.. theres no limit set in the code.. so it should be unlimited.. but if you flood it with like thousands of categories.. that would be kinda pointless. how many do you need to create?

Oh and Trafix, don't worry about my question(s) a few pages back, my friend and I are taking care of adding another "option/feature" to the jukebox.. besides the default "Rating, Song Format, Uploaded By, Requests" features.... check it

Look here. It's nothing that trafix can "fix"; it's up to your host. Hope this helps you.

Hey T, where you at, can I get your help with this? be a huge favor for me.. I'm trying to get the categorys setup the way I need.. since I have such a large VOLUME of songs, I need to link to the categorys independently... if this is too much work, can you atleast tell me how I can set all the categorys so they arent all EXPANDED...

And I also want to work on a feature to block users without a certain amount of posts, its getting ridiculous how many ppl come and use the box but don't support the community..

I figure it's the least we can do since Trafix has been so much help to us! Mine's still in "production" so no link.

I'm hoping T will add the ability for the category the user wants the entry displayed in to be related to admin, so I won't have to guess when I approve them.

Hi, excellent hack!

I am having trouble uploading larger files through the web upload feature. The upload process goes through, but at the end there is no file anywhere to be found. The upload feature through the Admincp ends up with "invalid file name". This does not happen with small files. Is there any workaround for this problem?

I also tried ftp'ng the file directly to the folder, but couldn't find a way to add it in. I tried adding the file through the admincp upload page, but it just said that the file was already uploaded.

If possible use manual entry and upload via FTP.. search the topic, the fix for allowing php to upload larger files has been addressed somewhere...

I installed VBJuke box today but I have not been able to get it to work. I believe the problem is with a querrie or a phrase. Both of which I totally suck at.

The problem I had at first was that I could not get my songs to paly. I tried changing the paths etc and still nothing. After that I tried to run the uninsatller so I could try to reinstall and I get a database error. Now when I go to the jukebox php file I get a blank page..

If anyone is familiar with this install and can help me get this going I'd appreciate it. If your not familiar with this particular please don't respond..

I don't have much money but I will paypal who ever can fix this a predetermined amount....

OK-- UPDATE--

I manually typed in most of the querrys and now I am not getting errors. The problem is I see nothing in the controlpanel options. I did before when I first installed but now there is nothing. I see the option on the left side bar for tracks but that is it..

Can anyone help??

I am really starting to get a little teed off. A few people have offered to help me and noone has followed through.

Trafix has told me 2 days in a row that he was going to take a look and I end up waiting for nothing......

why can't people just do what they say they are going to do? I followed the instructions exactly and I have a problem and there is no support!! This hack is like the megaone for my forum and I want it bad.... it is just too bad that people can't follow through....

- I has uploader file mp3 does not arrive, just WMV and SWF, can you indicate to me if the file mp3 are supported and possibly why I does not arrive has to listen to them, nor uploader ?

- Can you indicate all the formats to support by this hack please

- and a last thing:p, I have uploader a file WMV, but it does not open it with Windows media player, whereas normally, has the base is video, one hears just the sound.

Is there a way to make the genres collapsible by default? That should help with the long page problem.

is there any reason why a 2.7 meg mpeg movie would play only half the file and then ends? On my desktop it plays the full movie.
