NICE LOOKING! Now a question before I try it out...

Can it be turned on/off ???

A friend does an internet radio broadcast on fridays in Sept, Oct, Nov (football) so we would love to have this installed but would need to enable it around game time, and disable it an hour or so after.

THANKS in Advance!

majoreyeswater 08-03-2006 09:47 PM

HI, thought this would be useful on my forum, but not sure if it works with 3.5.x - although I do realise it is listed in the 3.5.x available mods.

I get the following error when trying to add a template:

Error. vbradio.xml located in directory '' was not found. Please make sure it is uploaded then press the submit button below

My forum files are in the top directory of my site, within wwwroot, with admincp being a folder within that. I know the file exists in there, but it seems to be that is doesn't know which directory to look in due to the " in the error message.

I've searched and seen that others have had the issue, but can't find a resolution - anyone any ideas?

Guidance and help appreciated

Thanks

Seems that I get the same error message as a lot of others trying to use this hack.

If this radio hack works with 3.5.4 why are so many of us getting the same error message??

Is this definitely a 3.5.4 compatible hack??? If so, how do we solve the issue of this error message??

I've checked my CHMOD 777, checked the file, checked that I can edit the file and it is in the correct folder and it is fully editable...can someone throw some light on this, because I've installed it but I get zero functionality.

Worked it out!! Or at least worked it out for myself anyway...

I have been downloading the wrong zip file. The one that should be used for 3.5.x forum is this one HERE.

Upload all the correct files (including the additional file to configure it in the admin control panel.) and it all worked a treat.

Installed...

badboyz 08-07-2006 02:30 PM

nice one

Dude, thanks for the pointer.... works a treat *clicks install*......

Zero Tolerance - nice hack!!! Works like a dream.....

Harley-Heaven 08-11-2006 05:24 PM

I hope that someone can help me here....

One of my members can't listen to any radio station on vBRadio... vBRadio works 100%....

He is using Windows XP, WMP 10, Internet Explorer, Broadband 2Mbps ADSL.

When he clicks on the radio station and presses PLAY THIS STATION he gets nothing at all.... no effects froom WMP, no sound, nada, zip....

I had him test his WMP by giving a link to a streaming radio site, it works perfectly. I have other users using the vBRadio without a single problem.... so I am really baffled... does anyone have any pointers that I could refer back to him???

Thanks in anticipation.....
