These two issues are unrelated to DBSEO. You need to disable whatever mod you are running that works on newpost_complete (not DBSEO), and increase the maximum amount of MySQL connections.

DBSEO does not control your vBulletin Usergroup Permissions, which you need to configure to get rid of any permissions issues.

This is not an issue myself or anyone else can replicate.

There are no missing files from v1.1.6. vB.Org releases are delayed so that any new bugs can be hotfixed before they are released here :)

This mod is working perfectly with vB 4.2.2 and vB 4.2.3 :)

What friendly URLs did you use previously?

Mod Rewrite Friendly URLs (NGINX), currently not using any SEO systems/plugins.

Disco_Dave 07-28-2014 07:21 AM

Guys I'm having a slight problem with one of our forums. In the forum url's we have selected forum_id's every forum works fine except one. It's the mod room forum, when you select it, it takes you to modcp. Any ideas on how to fix this.

It's just the same as a first install only this time you overwrite all files

If you need help redirecting vBulletin's friendly URLs to standard URLs, that's something you'd need to ask vBulletin Support. In a .htaccess/Apache environment, adding parts of the vB4 Rewrite Rules above the DBSEO rules enable those old links to work, though I don't know if the same holds true for Nginx.

What is the rewritten name of this forum, and what's the name of your modcp directory?

Taringa! CS 07-30-2014 05:48 PM

Is it possible to make something like this?

include_once('/var/www/site.com/public_html/vbseo/includes/functions_vbseo.php');

vbseo_get_options();
vbseo_prepare_seo_replace();
vbseo_get_forum_info();
$memberurl = vbseo_member_url_row($vb_userid, $vb_username);

That will most likely never happen, as vB5 has its own built-in SEO URLs :)

If lighttpd can use .htaccess files then it should work :)

You can use something like
PHP Code:

include_once('/var/www/site.com/public_html/dbtech/dbseo/includes/class_core.php');

DBSEO::init();

$memberurl DBSEO_Url::create('MemberProfile_MemberProfile', array('userid' => $vb_userid'username' => $vb_username));

DragonByte SEO v1.1.8

Bug Fixes:
  • Forum passwords would not work correctly
  • URLs sent via POST should no longer have canonical URL enforcement
  • (vB3) Canonical URLs for Show Thread now reflect the thread's page
