Just upgraded to v2.0.2 PL 1 and went to check out Spil games, get this now:

PHP Warning: file_get_contents(http://publishers.spilgames.com/rss?...1&limit=0,25): failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 404 NOT FOUND in ..../dbtech/vbarcade/systems/spl.php on line 53

I am not able to import the latest XML after updating the files.

I get a screen with the following:

There is nothing special listed after that, it's a blank after that comment, and then the rest of my existing .htaccess file.

I do have the the arcade's htaccess block in my file.

It doesn't matter if I give apache access to update my .htaccess or not.

Yes, that's the error I too receive and couldn't make this mod to work on my site.

For some reason, newer versions doesn't work even if htaccess is changed according to instructions. Further info on my experience you can read this post.

Either manually add the code to your forums .htaccess or chmod the .htaccess to 777, run the import again, then when its done change the .htaccess permissions back to what they were.

I tried both of those before posting here. Neither is the problem.

i am so confused about the permission setttings, so on default, you can set all groups to view it, then i set certain groups to None and set it as important to override the default, then i set the rest of the groups to able to play and set it as important, but how do i set them to record and score also ?

Change the setting to score.

In that case, edit the product XML file and remove that check :)

Around which line number? I'm trying to "find" and don't see any matches around import, htaccess, or rewrite.

Will this mod work with a windows based server?

You will probably need to disable the .htaccess check in the installer and convert those rules to web.config files yourself, but other than that I believe so :)

I am getting the following error on importing a few games [others work]

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected 'style_emoticons' (T_STRING), expecting ')' in /home/************/public_html/dbtech/vbarcade/import/temp/game_2BallPool/2BallPool.php on line 24

That's a problem with the game, we have no control over that unfortunately :(

Not without you telling me what games produce this error message. I will need you to PM me with a link to the download for these games for testing.

We have no plans to update this mod to support HTML5 games at this time, sorry :(

As far as I'm aware, it will work on 7.1 and it's our intention to support 7.1.

Depends what you mean by "further supported". Flash is being blocked in all browsers by default now, so we have no current plans to update this modification with new functionality.

Yes Flash is getting less and less. Only html5 games.

Wordpress z.b. There you can install html5 games.

Save them do not because they need to be re-adapted just like flash games.

Flash games will still function after flash is blocked by default.

Is there a way to display a different number of 'Most Trophies' compared to 'Longest Players' 'Latest Champions' and 'Latest Scores'? I'd like to display 5 of all, but more for Most Trophies as on our board we give credits at the end of the month to everyone depending on the number of their awards, and if just 5 are displayed, some remain without credits. Or is it possible to have 'Most Trophies' displayed on an individual page as the Leaderboard in ibPro Arcade?

Also, it is said in the main post 'Latest tournament shown on arcade portal' for the Lite version, but they don't show up.

How to ban users in arcade only? If I create additional usergroup and place the banned players there it won't work since their primary usergroups are still allowed in arcade.

Make it a primary usergroup then? We can't. Banned players belong to different primary usergroups. Merging them into one primary usergroup just to disallow them from arcade will mess their forum permissions.

Anyone still using this arcade?

I finally got around to test with vbarcade and html5 games.

Does vbarcade work with the latest Vbulletin 5.6.8 ?
