This seems to work to resize the product image:
|
Not seeing this, but where does a registered user create a new product?

Any idea what's causing the post content after the actual review to spill over onto the next line? It's only happening in the threads with reviews...

Furthermore if the image filesize is huge, say a 5000x5000 graphic, the entire thing is still downloaded each time causing your page load to drag. It's not a terrible solution if your images are already all fairly small and similar sizes but becomes a problem when they're raw which is why the mod doesn't use it. Down the road we'll build a full uploader but as resizing is a quick process, the focus is on new features. |

Alright Product Review Forum Users...
Here's the beta [looks like it all works but a little more testing to go] of 1.2.0 for those who want to get moving :D - Adds the WYSIWYG editor for writing reviews [awesome] - Adds search by Manufacturer option - Adds post bit stat & link to a user's reviews - Separates options into core / style for future expansion - Switches sharing to AddThis for increased usage Lots of small changes too as listed in the change log. Update the XML, .php files, heck... upload it all again. |
right on. testing it now.
|
Nice update, but addthis is the biggest shit :( Should be selectable please...
|
Hi Ted, like I expected, my editor is away... the complete field to write a review is gone?! :( Could you PLEASE add support for the old editor which is in vbulletin 4.0.3 and so on...

You have to enable it for each user class.
|
Can we have the manufacturer displayed in the product listing ?
Update looks like some great new additions Ted, i will try it out when i get time on my live (eek) board :) I assume the reviews alread ywritten etc wont be lost during upgrade obviously. |

The Beta version seems to be working well, and my feature request (Sort by MFG) seems flawless... so I'm happy :)
I'm wondering where I would go to change the color of the search box from the standard Vbulletin blue? Thanks on edit: I think I found a slight bug. The MFG search defaults to the first entry. It should default to "blank" otherwise it affects the other fields. |

Load firebug on firefox and you can identify which element is causing the spacing break that I can look into for you. Otherwise it's debugging in the dark against an infinite number of options. We'll figure it out |

The style is in the css file [upload -> clientscript -> vbulletin_css -> productforums.php]. Change .pf_search .pf_st and .pf_search .pf_sh as you see fit. Quote:

Firebug will help track down your particular collision as again, it's likely going to be specific to something another mod or style change has added... unfortunately that's the nature of mods, we all write our own code and sometimes it doesn't play nice with others. |

Or pop open the template prodforums_product_details [reviewing a review] and phrase prodforums_reviewposted [writing a review] and put in whatever you prefer. |

Can you double check that the permission "stuck" and that the member isn't a part of a group with a "no"? Also the link isn't the most visible given where it is. That can be changed of course... |

Very upper right of the screen is what you should see on the review overview page [productforums.php] |
oooohhhhh
on the productforums.php page. Didn't even know it existed since there was no obvious links to it |

I dont do auto links in my mods.. There's too much variability between forums to assume a link on one will even show in a useful way on any given site. |
