Ahh what a shame I wanted to install this style as it looks good but since it's not compatible with 4.1.11, I guess ill choose another style then

vizitor 04-04-2012 01:44 PM

@TheLastSuperman: Any updates for now about the style?
THX & cheers

K4GAP 04-06-2012 05:28 AM

Whats the rush guys? As soon as it's updated there will be a vb update more than likely. And then we start all over waiting for another style update.

It looks to me like vb is focusing more and more on the mobile stuff so, I'm going to stop updating my style every time a new version comes out. It's just a losing battle to try to keep caught up on style versions.

I have decided in my case I'm going to start only updating my vb and whatever style I choose to every 6 months.

If I had a super slick style to maintain such as Superman has, I would announce that there will be an update every 6 months.

This is of course my opinion :)

HHelp1 04-06-2012 12:07 PM

Where is 4.1.10 or 4.1.11?

HHelp1 04-06-2012 12:25 PM

Still in development.

Does not exist, yet.

Have you read any of the previous posts?

TheLastSuperman 04-11-2012 06:31 PM

Hey hey now oversight is the norm around here, you should know that by now GaryT lol  but thanks for the reply and honestly everyone the Fixed Width versions are done I just need to change a little bit of the css and a few stylevars to make the Fluid Width versions of each vB version and then it will be released. Sorry if I'm not quick enough but if my actual clients found out I'm working on free styles when they have requests currently... well wouldn't you agree that would be unprofessional to not take care of them yet be working on free styles? Case in point therefor point being, patience goes a long way and comments like post #401 do not make me feel bad or work harder as it just is what it is .

HHelp, the toplinks issue is in the thread it might be a few pages back or perhaps in the initial posts or second post of this thread you'll need to search for it ;).

Asap ladies and gents, asap I promise .

ozione 04-28-2012 06:16 PM

There is a premium version? I think not.

Zenyx 05-02-2012 06:36 PM

Hey, I had a question and sorry if it's been asked already, but is there a way to remove the dark gradient line like thing show here:

http://i.minus.com/iL1oxhbDnZPJP.png

If so, can you kindly direct me on how to? ^^

jack150464 05-02-2012 10:43 PM

try to reduce the size of the logo or image that exists on the top line disappears in principle this

ozione 05-14-2012 10:30 AM

:(

CharlieDelta 05-23-2012 03:00 PM

I am afraid he gave up on this theme. It would be very unfortunate if he did it indeed.

Megaboost 05-26-2012 09:13 PM

Oh! No! this is such a good theme too but it is screwed up on 4.2.0 for me :-(

iglow 05-30-2012 09:49 PM

great theme but have 2 questions:
1. where to edit all texts to be a bit bigger [ie 1 more pixel]
2. the sidebar on my forum is at the BOTTOM, not on the right. im at 4.1.12 any ideas how to fix that>

It should be screwed up on 4.2.0 because it does not support that version.

We are ALL waiting for the new version to be released.

EuroBeat2 06-10-2012 08:39 PM

I really would like to know if Superman will update this theme to ver 4.2. I am not updating my Vbulletin with anticipation that he might finally update it to. Do you mind to let us know?

Well to be perfectly honest, I've just made major changes to my normal schedule so I can contribute the full 20 hours a week on vbulletin.com please reference this announcement for more info https://www.vbulletin.com/forum/show...e-Support-Team so with that said most of my upcoming week is being focused on video tutorials and forum support along with a very in-depth article I'm creating on how to fix a hacked site (tons of tips & tricks and stuff to help owners restore their site :D) therefor it's going to be another week or so before I can update this.

If anyone would like a copy of the 4.1.11 or 4.1.12 versions I have updated (bear in mind they are fixed width only atm) to install and try please PM me, all I require is that you PM me a short list of any style related bugs after testing ;).

Thank you for the sign. First, congratulation on your new position within Vbulletin. This is great news for our community. Secondly, I am sure you made many of us happy that you will continue support this wonderful theme of yours. One or two weeks compare with unknown is still a wonderful news. I will be waiting with anticipation, so will my visitors.

Thank you.

Same here.

Wenbie 07-08-2012 08:33 AM

Does it work for vB 4.0.x? I'm confused by the big Support box (which states vB 3.6 / 3.8 / 4.1.5). I'm using vB 4.0.1

Thanks!

Sad!
The LastSuperman doesn't even bother to answer. Very unlikely of him. Why don't you just give us clear answer so we know what to do with our boards. As I said, I am waiting to upgrade to ver 4.2 but I am not doing it because I am waiting for your style. So, please don't go just silent on us.

EB

Zohhak 07-09-2012 08:15 AM

He hasn't been online since 02 July. So i wouldn't expect an answer because he couldn't even read your question. Nevertheless iam also waiting for the upgrade to ver 4.2.

ozione 07-11-2012 06:10 AM

i have to agree with eurobeat2. bottom line... we're waiting for these upgrades for so long now.
i would redesign my board at least twice by now, if it would be said that this wont evolve further...

K4GAP 07-12-2012 07:55 PM

The style is free. What more could you expect for a free style? He obviously has no further interest in supporting this style or, maybe he has more important things to do? Such as, I don't know, maybe a family to support or God forbid a life that does not consist entirely of internet related matters? I'm sure when he wants to he will update this style. In the meantime may I suggest you guys divorce this style for a while and do as I have and find something else to worry about. Like maybe..... read a book or go fishing?

oh... is that the bests you could come up with? fishing? i wasn't disrespectful, i (we) just need to know if there is any solid roadmap avail. even if something is free, the more followers it has, the greater is responsibility...

i won't go further in to the details as anyone can read the whole story. i salute to all coders who do their work for free BUT as i said. if i knew months ago that author won't have time to code it, i would be thankful, switch the theme and no more whining...

TheLastSuperman 07-13-2012 05:13 PM

No roadmap besides "When I have time, I will update it because many like this style" and yes I've said it many times but something more important keeps coming up respectively.

Busy atm, 5 birthdays in the immediate family this month alone including my wife and two of my children so working for money and nothing more currently to make those kiddos happy and spoiled! No desire to even touch this style again until the first of next month.

DO NOT INSTALL THIS STYLE UNLESS YOUR RUNNING vBulletin 4.1.8 OR Below. If your waiting for a update please pick another style as your primary, this can certainly be a option for a alternative style however based on updates it's not advised to be used as a primary currently.

ozione 07-16-2012 06:08 AM

thank you.

Fantastic theme. Very much looking forward to a future update. :)

Xplosive60 10-07-2012 01:15 PM

Any update status on this skin yet?

steven72555 10-16-2012 01:00 PM

I think you guys need to forget about this style. TheLastSuperman has long abandoned this project. He has had something else to do for awhile.

We kinda know now that he did abandon the theme. After promises that he will do it, he ducked. Anyway. I have not updated my board, I keep this skin, and will wait for gold release for ver 5.0 then I will upgrade and will forget about this one. :(

Cybex 10-21-2012 04:32 PM

Too bad, I donated to him and I am unable to use this skin now since I run 4.2 :(

Kiint 10-22-2012 03:34 PM

I discovered this skin yesterday but am running 4.2, so sad to see it's not been updated for 4.2

I did test it to see how it works but have the advanced search alignment issue like everyone else and the home/forum tabs don't seem to update from the navigation manager in the admin pages.

Will keep subscribed to this thread incase it does get updated in the future.

I hope so.

Dogma21cw 11-27-2012 03:17 AM

I have this skin & took the time to update it for our forums http://21cwforums.com/forum.php?styleid=205

I can share my updated style if anyone is interested.

Kiint 11-27-2012 11:47 AM

I'd sure like a copy, Looks good on your site.
