We'll do this --

Quote:

http://vbresults.com/a/add-ons/pre-o...registration-4

Paid Registration 4.0 makes visitors enter their information before payment. 4.0 is a complete rewrite and independent from the 3.x versions on vBulletin.org.

Paid Registration 4.0 is compatible with both vBulletin 3.x and 4.x.

Having visitors enter their information before payment is reported to be less confusing and may increase conversions. Paid Registration 4.0 will also not require a file edit (Paid Registration 3.x is the only add-on in our catalog that does).

If you are one of the first 10 people to pre-order this add-on between October 3rd and October 16th, if a vBulletin 5 Connect version is produced, you will also receive that version for Free. If 10 pre-orders are not received by October 16th, this add-on will not be produced and all existing pre-orders will be refunded in full.

issue 1 : domain is registered for only 1 year and it expires on 26 Jul 2013

whats the guarantee this domain will be alive when vb5 goes gold?

issue 2: you are expecting 10 to pre-order before 16 october who ever ordered will be refunded

this is completly wrong and basically no guarantee that people will even see this product released, i'd say you are trying to force people to pre order it if others want to see it released for sale to others

Confirmed; thank you. At the rate things are going now, to my surprise, it looks like the pre-order minimum of 10 will be met in the next few hours so things are looking good for the vBulletin 5 Connect version. :eek:

i doubt 10 people will pre - order this product, if its not officially released and the developer should release it so he/she get profit rather than holding people back

1. We manually renew 1 year at a time due to reported issues with our registrar. The strange thing here is you looking into our domain records. You haven't even had the add-on downloaded for 3 full days (and, your initial post here was to criticize before you even downloaded the add-on -- you most likely had no intention of even installing it until I pointed out the fact you hadn't).

2. Re-read the text. If 10 pre-orders are made by the 16th, the add-on is a-go. If they aren't, whatever pre-orders were made will be refunded.

Are you trying to promote your signature or something?

yes i criticise due to the fact that its saying to customer if you don't wana see this version released for sale, " i need 10 customers "

i am sorry but thats the wrong way to attract customers, if your gonna sell it, sell it why should people have to wait for 10 pre orders which i think is unprofessional

It no longer exists; but to answer your question, the users are not to be altered in any way. They will not exist in the new version of the mod, though.

How can I get rid of this error?
JQuery Library Path

Even if I clear it out it still gives me an error that I need a valid location.. And having this error always gives me a pop-up message when I go to change settings and so I'd really like to get rid of it, or get it to the correct location.

Thanks

addamroy 12-30-2012 12:15 AM

Awesome mod. Installed.

PS - When will that handy dandy pay per bump addon you have hidden away be available? (with the ability to use 2chckout) :)

Mark4865 12-30-2012 08:12 AM

This is a great mod and I have always found it to work well with earlier versions of vb 4

I have just upgraded to vb 4.2 in my test environment so am busy upgrading all my add on's

Sorry but this may sound like a really dumb question and I have read through this thread and the upgrade instructions before asking.

LancerForHireLLC's instructions seem to be very clear and easy to follow when upgrading from 2.4.1 to the latest version shown here.

My problem is when checking my register.php file for the text shown below it is simply just not there, what am I missing here or I am just being an idiot

3. In register.php, `find` and `remove` each (case sensitive):

if ($userId) {

$vbulletin->userinfo['userid'] = $userid = $userId;

the above text does not currently appear in my register.php file, would this be something I already removed when upgrading to 2.4.1 if so how do I then upgrade to 3.7.1

Appreciate advice and help from anyone, thanks in advance

Upload the latest version of jQuery to the includes/clientscript folder and change the version number respectively.

If it's not there, then register.php was overwritten by a newer version of vBulletin and the changes were lost, so you can skip that step in upgrade.txt. Remember to make the file edit each time goes through an upgrade that replaces register.php.

The edit is not required in Paid Registration IV which is a complete rewrite; because of how we're reworking things, it only costs 1 USD, but we haven't released it to the public yet even though it's stable. :p

It's no longer in the free rotation, and it supports paypal only at the moment.

You uninstalled one of the extended mods before uninstalling the main product, ignoring the warning message. Follow the instructions here and uninstall the remaining products.

Do I have to remove the manual template edits if I want to disable this mod?

Or can I just go into the plugin/product manager and disable it?

There is no on/off switch in your settings.

It can be turned off using the built-in product manager enable/disable switch with nothing else needing to be done

giorgioarmani 01-05-2013 01:44 PM

Wow I cannot believe I only just found this mod....

Installed and nominated!! :)

But I have a small issue:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ELSE in /home/absolute/domains/MYDOMAIN.com/public_html/register.php on line 525

giorgioarmani 01-05-2013 03:55 PM

If I get rid of this:

PHP Code:

3. Download register.php from the forum root and open it.  In register.phpfind each (1-3 instances):

$userdata->save();

Add below each:

if (isset(
$paidRegistrationUserId)) {

$vbulletin->userinfo['userid'] = $userid $paidRegistrationUserId;

Then the error disappears...?

As of Jan 7 2013, our commercial plugins are only available to our private clients. Since in 2013 we are no longer accepting clients directly, it can no longer be acquired in the same way. Sorry!

Wow a bit shocked and very disappointed but what can one do

giorgioarmani 01-08-2013 07:45 PM

What was the difference with the commercial plugin?

Mark4865 01-09-2013 07:18 AM

Since I am no longer able to purchase version 4 of this mod I would like to upgrade from 2.4.1 to the latest 3.7.1 shown here.

I have checked the register.php file as discussed earlier and the text I need to remove is not there suggesting it has been overwritten during a vb version upgrade.

My question is what set of instructions do I know follow to upgrade, do I keep going and just skip this step assuming it is no longer applicable

thanks in advance for assistance

crashemarketing 01-10-2013 09:59 AM

Fantastic mod, everything works a treat except for after paypal payment. For some reason I end up back at the select subscription page i.e. /forum/register.php?do=select_subscription. if i delete the ?do=select_subscription it allows me to register as it should do (/forum/register.php?key=dccd59c5fb4d084f0a8decb290c2afdb) . Not quite quite why its doing it, any help would be appreciated...

LakeAnna 01-10-2013 02:18 PM

I have the following problem and I dont know why or how to process these new registrations.

I do have moderate new registrations turned on to minimize spam - but why do these say subscription pending etc and how do I process these?

thanks for any help!
