Your awards.php file seems to have the structure of VB4

The request_award.php and other files seem ot have the structure of VB3. When will these bec upgrade, they have displaying problems because of this.

CypherSTL 04-24-2010 04:43 PM

As the files get modified, I will be converting all of the files to the vB4 structure.

Automation is coming.

Bouncer222 04-24-2010 06:07 PM

K waiting for automation! Hopefully soon...

Could someone please assist with the following error i get when attempting to install this

Quote:

Database error in vBulletin 4.0.2:

Invalid SQL:
ALTER TABLE award ADD award_allowrecommend TINYINT( 1 ) DEFAULT 1 NOT NULL,ADD award_pointvalue TINYINT( 3 ) DEFAULT 0 NOT NULL;

vicelover 04-25-2010 06:41 AM

How to remove this info "Yet Another Awards System v4.0.2" in award.php?

we can check the new version in admincp or subscription.

When click "Award Requests" in admincp, MySQL Error : Table '***.vb_award_requests' doesn't exist.

CCV_Pinto 04-28-2010 02:16 AM

great plugin, installed ;)

there is a little bug with the uninstall code for the last version: because it doesnt drop the table that is created at installation

I've also made two little customizations that could interest someone:

1. I've created an option to the awards called "Awards as block (line break)" to display some awards alone in the line (as if a line break was added, but in fact its a display: block that is doing the trick)

2. I've also created an option called "Is this award unique?". Its an option to awards that only one person at a time can be assigned to. So, if you give this award to someone it will appears on the postbit of only that last person.

Who was previously awarded will still have the award at his profile view, but only one person at a time will have the award at his postbit, like a "current champion".

If this two customizations interest you, feel free to ask me.

No, cause you must give each one at a time a description and link url to that award when creating it.

MudRacing 05-05-2010 03:29 PM

the awards is possible in the roster?
I'm using this: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=235326

in the template I need to insert a string to display it. I show in red where I should put it:
Code:

<vb:if condition="$showbits == 1">
        <tr>
                <td class="alt1 username"><vb:if condition="$show[avatarcol]"><vb:if condition="$show['avatar']"><img class="avatar" src="{vb:raw avatarurl}" alt="{vb:rawphrase xs_avatar, {vb:raw userinfo.username}}" /><vb:else /><img class="avatar" src="images/avatars/no_avatar.png" alt="{vb:rawphrase no_avatar_specified}" /></vb:if></vb:if><a href="member.php?{vb:raw session.sessionurl}u={vb:raw userinfo.userid}-{vb:raw userinfo.username}">{vb:raw userinfo.musername}</a><vb:if condition="$show[onlinestatuscol]">{vb:raw userinfo.onlinestatus}</vb:if></td>
                <vb:if condition="$show[field1st] AND exec_switch_bg()"><td class="{vb:raw bgclass} column1"><img src="http://www.spqrclan.com/web/images/ranks/ranksspqr/{vb:var userinfo.{vb:var columns[column1]}}.png" alt="{vb:var userinfo.{vb:var columns[column1]}}" /></td></vb:if>
                <vb:if condition="$show[field2nd] AND exec_switch_bg()"><td class="{vb:raw bgclass} column2">{vb:var userinfo.{vb:var columns[column2]}}</td></vb:if>
                <vb:if condition="$show[field3rd] AND exec_switch_bg()"><td class="{vb:raw bgclass} column3"><img src="http://miniprofile.xfire.com/bg/sh/type/1/{vb:var userinfo.{vb:var columns[column3]}}.png" alt="{vb:var userinfo.{vb:var columns[column3]}}" /></td></vb:if>
                <vb:if condition="$show[field4th] AND exec_switch_bg()"><td class="{vb:raw bgclass} column4">{vb:var userinfo.{vb:var columns[column4]}}</td></vb:if>
                <vb:if condition="$show[field5th] AND exec_switch_bg()"><td class="{vb:raw bgclass} column5">{vb:var userinfo.{vb:var columns[column5]}}</td></vb:if>
                <vb:if condition="$show[field6th] AND exec_switch_bg()"><td class="{vb:raw bgclass} column6">{vb:var userinfo.{vb:var columns[column6]}}</td></vb:if>
                <vb:if condition="$show[field7th] AND exec_switch_bg()"><td class="{vb:raw bgclass} column7">{vb:var userinfo.{vb:var columns[column7]}}</td></vb:if>
                <vb:if condition="$show[field8th] AND exec_switch_bg()"><td class="{vb:raw bgclass} column8">{vb:var userinfo.{vb:var columns[column8]}}</td></vb:if>
                <vb:if condition="$show[datejoinedcol] AND exec_switch_bg()"><td class="{vb:raw bgclass} datejoined">{vb:raw userinfo.datejoined}</td></vb:if>
                <vb:if condition="$show[lastactivecol] AND exec_switch_bg()"><td class="{vb:raw bgclass} lastactive">{vb:raw userinfo.lastactive}</td></vb:if>
                <vb:if condition="$show[profilepiccol] AND exec_switch_bg()"><td class="{vb:raw bgclass} profilepic">{vb:raw userinfo.profilepic}</td></vb:if>
        </tr>
</vb:if>

For Xfire, I used this:
Code:

                <vb:if condition="$show[field3rd] AND exec_switch_bg()"><td class="{vb:raw bgclass} column3"><img src="http://miniprofile.xfire.com/bg/sh/type/1/{vb:var userinfo.{vb:var columns[column3]}}.png" alt="{vb:var userinfo.{vb:var columns[column3]}}" /></td></vb:if>
Can you help me or take it off of my mind? :D

I am also experiencing the same error when im trying to install this mod. I had accidentally uninstalled this mod when I was uninstalling some others, and when I tried to re-install this mod I got the above error. I've noticed some other people have this issue as well. Anyone have a way to fix this yet?

Edit your images and add spacing to them.

CypherSTL any word yet on the automation please? Just would like an expected release date....
We have a large community to manage and automation would be a big help.

I did some research on my own about this, appears we need to manually delete those tables and let the install recreate them.

Sound correct?

Yes I did this myself also, and it worked. I was just about to post it here to tell everyone how to fix.

What I did was to manually delete (or Drop) the following 4 tables from the MySQL forum database:
award
award_cat
award_requests
award_user

(Note: BE careful when removing tables from your MySQL database! Only remove the 4 tables above and you do this at your OWN risk)

I removed the tables using the phpMyAdmin feature from my websites cPanel to edit the database.

These 4 tables are what the mod uses. I found that when you uninstall the mod it doesn't automatically remove these from the database, and therefore it won't let you re-install it because the installation process tries to create/alter the tables again and it cannot "overwrite" this. Once these tables are removed however, the mod installation should run its course ok. (it did for me at least)

I Hope this helps the others who have the same/similar issues!

I am getting this error when a user requests an award. has this been fixed with the update?

"There's some error when sending your award request. Please contact site's administrator for assistant."

I only had to remove award and award_requests and I was good to go.

Question.

How can I alter where someone would be directed to if they click on the award in someone's post?

Like if I were to click on the award, it takes me to the page showing the complete award and why they go it, I'd rather change that link to point them elsewhere.

Any help is appreciated.

What do you mean by award automation is being implemented.

What type of award actions will this include?

Thank you

I did experience this error on my own forums before i accidentally uninstalled the mod. When i managed to re-install it the mod now works fine, requests and recommendations work perfectly.

Although I have noticed when you grant an award to a user from their request it doesnt automatically delete the request. You have to remove each request manually. I would like to see the mod automatically delete requests if they are awarded if possible, because I can imagine this taking up lots of administrators time if they have a lot of requests to attend to.

I will see what I can do about accommodating that.

I have noticed another bug, mainly with the Uninstall Code being flaky, I will work on that for the next release.

You would have to edit a template. I'm not 100% sure off hand.

I'm trying out award automation right now... and i'm trying it on my admin usergroup, so far its a no go. do I have to update ranks or something?

Xanlamin 05-13-2010 02:16 PM

If I remember correctly the cron is set by default to run every 24 hours, you will need to run it manually to get it sooner

Edit the cron. It's located in your scheduled task manager, called yaasautomation.

Ok I have another question, is there a way to give an award to users who had active accounts from say april 1st, 2010 through may 1st, 2010?

Xanlamin 05-13-2010 04:05 PM

Membership term is one of the options, but not for a time frame between dates.
