Where it says GCBOS at the top left of the chatbox window, the title of the chatbox, how can I change the title to something like: Chatbox ?

I want to do this as well.

Find the GCBOS template and edit it in there :)

I do however have one problem. I added the shoutbox command to the navbar so it shows on all pages. Only problem is that on some pages, it looks really weird. Sometimes all the shouts are centered, other times the bbcode and all the commands are visible. I added a screenshot of the second example as an attachment.

Could you please take a look at this problem and let me know if it's fixable?

I had this installed and working and etc. Then all of a sudden it disappears without any changes made or anything. The mod is still installed, and the template edits are still there. Any idea's?

I'm sorry but is this an answer to my question? If so, what exactly do I need to do? Can't find anything related a couple of pages back hehe.

I posted an XML file that should fix it, once i can get onto my webserver i can test it. For some reason FTPd and ssh have crashed so im waiting for a power cycle :P

I would like to suggest three very needed on my forum features, to this mod:

First, I would be good to add possibility of secret speaking (speaking to selected in VB Options usergroups) like /team in MGC EVO Chatbox

Another would be editing of shouts, and adding the archive.

I had set the permissions for registered users, and not for admins, therefore I couldn't see it for some reason.

Set it for admins, and it works fine.

Btw, where in the GCBOS template do you change the name in the shout box?

I tried where it says Forum title, and changed the GBOS text, but what I changed it to didn't show, , nor did the GCBOS.

Weird.. When ever I use /listmuted, it shows nothing.. is this normal?

I am not sure FF|Skyrider I have yet to play with any or all the command functions.

Just do a search in templates for "GCBOS" and change whatever instances look like the ones you want to change.

I haven't checked, but it could also be in phrases, so do a search in phrases for that as well.

You'd think, but there is only one place I saw, and when I changed it, the GCBOS disappeared completely, and what I typed in didn't show @ all.

Thanks for your reply. I found the xml file and when importing it, the problem is fixed! However, the problem that all the text gets centered on some pages is still there. Btw, importing this "temp. fix" won't cause any other problems? ;-)

MCS, A simple, easy to understand /help menu would be good for the users, also maybe set it up so they can click down to a sub menu for stuff like all the smiley commands available?

I noticed a few other little things that perhaps can get fixed in the next release.

Are the PM notices displaying for everyone, I am seeing a notice for every single one that users are sending, should it not display the "you have a new private message" only to the receiver of that PM? whats the point in a private message if the name of the message and who it was sent to is displayed to all in the chat box?

The way the notice message loads makes the whole block jump around on load slightly, is it possible to just have it load like any other message in VB instead of the typed out style, also the notice seems to load twice sometimes, especially when I change it from the command line, very annoying.

The who's online location shows everyone on forumhome in GCBOS, can this be set to time out and only if they are using the chat?

Change your username markup code use this and change the color to what you wish. Do this per usergroup and it will show up properly. Change what's in red.

I have installed it, its all working fine. But I would like to know if is there someway to change de title GCBOS to another??

Try this...

Admin CP > Languages & Phrases > Phrase Manager

Find "GCBOS" in the list - Click "[Edit]"

Change the value in the textbox to what you would like and save.
