Megatr0n 01-12-2009 07:36 PM

ADomoWorld 01-15-2009 09:06 AM

Did you just upgrade? If so, you'll have to redo the manual edits to your templates.

i updated like a couple of weeks ago at 3.8.0's release, but a few days ago i had the vmoods mod all over it like white on rice.. but now its gone, dunno what i did but manual edit templates, i tried editing a few places to see if i can bring it back up, think you can help me determine where it should be at?

djbaxter 01-21-2009 01:52 AM

If you don't still have it on your hard drive, download the add-on from here again and follow the instructions in the installation file. That tells you exactly what and where to do edit.

C138 Kaysone 01-21-2009 04:05 AM

the thing is i uninstalled and reinstalled the same thing over and over again, nothing changes and it doesnt show up at all... think you can make a instruction with where to go and fix templates edit and add??, the one that came with it.. doesn't tell me nothing i think it would help lol... makes it easier

TonyMF 01-22-2009 03:38 AM

Yeah, I'm having an issue too where I have it installed. I can see it in the navbar, and even see the images when I go to select a mood. The problem is that it doesn't actually let you select a mood. Maybe this will be fixed in the 3.8 version release... I really want to use Shelley's awesome mood images. :P

Vaupell 01-22-2009 02:57 PM

EDIT : installed.. on vb 3.8.0 and vba 3.1

in mod settings where it says link to images and scripts
i added FULL url including http: solved my problems.

works fine.. Tx

Thank you for the suggestion but it didn't make a difference. I think it might be something conflicting in the database, I'll have to get access from my web host provider.

Doesn't select...

Guys,

I'm logging thousands of

[error] [client X.Y.Z.W] File does not exist: /forumdirectory/images/mood/none.gif, referer: http://www.myforums.com/

in my Apache error log for every user shown in postbix that does not have their mood set.

Please verify.

Xencored 01-24-2009 10:09 PM

Thanks this great mod and thanks Shelley_c for your brill graphics

jalmz 01-28-2009 01:21 PM

I get this error when trying to change mood anyone knows what to do?
My Mood:
<br /> <b>Parse error</b>: syntax error, unexpected '<' in <b>/home/trapezit/public_html/Trapezitiki/ajax.php(69) : eval()'d code</b> on line <b>1</b><br />

edytwinky 02-02-2009 05:33 PM

I got this problem as well I think. I stopped it by just creating a blank file with the name none.gif in that folder. Kind of like a blank index.html

Moods are only showing on my default "style" how can I get the moods to show on all "styles" on my forum?

Same question

It works in my postbit/legacy but unsure of how to add it to the navbar as in default.

Phoenix81377 02-22-2009 07:52 PM

My members are dying for this! I can't wait to see the official release for 3.8.x! Thanks for your hard work!

DobieGillis? 03-01-2009 03:11 PM

has anyone had issues with this Mod and Live Topic before I try this again? The older version did

Alien 03-02-2009 02:40 AM

I'd like to get this working in my header. I tried using the $variables provided but nothing is working.. Anyone get this working inside the header (for those of us that stick certain navbar elements up there)?

Thanks!

adamskiii 03-06-2009 12:10 AM

Hi there. I cant seem to get this working. I have uploaded the files and did the template changes but still nothing :(. Its not showing up under my private message's in the box in the top right corner. Could you please help me? My forum is vB 3.8.1

thanks

Daisyboo 03-06-2009 09:12 AM

Have you enabled it in your ACP?

I have a question - its installed fine on my main template but doesn't show on another (the moods do but you can't select any on the Aria template)
Is it possible to add it under quick links on the 2nd template without it affecting the main template?
Thanks :)

adamskiii 03-06-2009 10:38 AM

yes it is enabled in my ACP

Merriweather 03-08-2009 06:16 AM

I am getting a JS error from this script.

Code:

YAHOO.util.Dom.get("vmoods-mine") is null
It's resulting from the following snippet in the vmoods.js, and appears to be because the JS is being run on all pages -- even when there is no mood selector.

Code:

if (YAHOO.util.Dom.get('vmood-mine'))
                        {
                                if (YAHOO.util.Dom.get('vmood-mine').src)
                                        YAHOO.util.Dom.setStyle('vmood-mine', 'opacity', 0.25);

                                YAHOO.util.Dom.get("vmood-mine").className = 'vmood_mine';
                        }

How do I tweak this?

Akademiks 03-08-2009 09:31 PM

anyway user can update mood via usercp?
