:) thanks for posting this as a ticket to vbcredits.com. i am going through the messages there and will get to yours shortly, so keep an eye on it for the next steps to help diagnose your problem.
|
followed the steps but list not visble in members list ?
and what's this your thread replied credit ? does this mean others reply on the thread gives points or own reply on the thread gives point ? |
you have to check off 'credits' as a displayable field in your vbulletin memberslist options
there are two award types, one for what you get for replying to your own thread (Your Thread Posting Credit) and the other for what you get when someone else replies to your thread (Your Thread Replied Credit). |
your thread posting credit - applies to owner
your thread replied credit - refers to other replies gives credits to the owner rite ? |
when you reply to someone else's thread, not only do you gain your own group's posting credit, but the thread owner also recieves their group's "Your Thread Replied" credit.
|
Got a problem that I just noticed. When displaying the credits in the member list, it shows in that person's field, but not at the top, putting everything else askew.

I'm quite sure you need to make a certain template edit to make the credits field a header on the member list. Otherwise that will happen.

Hi,
When I click on 'credits' on my profile it tries to go to: http://mysite.com/forum/credits.php?do=banking But I get a page not found error and I have followed the installation instructions pretty closely (there is a lot of modifications to templates lol). Any advice appreciated (I also set the days u should be registered to be able ot use this to 0 in 'banking option' as its a new vbulletin install) as I would really like this in our forum.. Thanks, |

is there any change at all? check to make sure the Induction credit is unchecked as an applicable negation award in the global award settings for vbcredits.

i have another question
i set it so i get 1 credit per post - and i am the admin - i quadruple checked the new post credit field and it is set to 1 - but i get 3 credits for each post. same with the thread credit, it is multiplied by 3 - so instead of getting 3 for opening a new thread, i get 9. other regular users get 1 credit, some staff gets 2 credits per post and it is all set to 1 - so I am a bit confused on why that's happening |
Thanks Darkwalkt for your help. Copied over credits.php n it works! :)
The only problem now is how I ca get an award system n place where it shows up on their profile? Or ideally how to configure this with Vbookie...seems quite complicated? |
installed, most useful :)

earlier today two of my mods responded - one made 3 credits per post and another made 1 - they are in the same usergroup with the exact same settings - so i don't know why that's happening. |
Installed on 3.7, but it is not showing in the forum. I was able to make changes and enable it in ACP.
I had to make template edit to make the navbar working. Do I need to make the template edits for all of them or is there a reason why the template hooks are not catching it. The plugin php file is in the correct directory. |
I have downloaded your mod but it says:"The product bookiehack must be installed before this product may be installed. (Compatible starting with 1.0.7)"
So I need to install VBookie...but there is no 3.7.2 compatible version for that? |
Could use a shop system for members to spend their points on something or they're just accumulating masses of points with nothing to do with them.

How do you turn on the threadaward gif pic so credits can be awarded per each thread or post. It is not showing on my forum. I have completed all template modifications
vB: 3.7.2 vBCredits: 1.4rc2 |
that is part of the Post Award System, and to get it to show up you must belong to a group that has nonzero limits set in the usergroup settings for that feature. for unlimited use for groups you trust, like admin, set all 4 limits to -1 for unlimited.

Can you explain a little better, I am not getting it. What do I need to check or change? And where ? |
in the usergroup editor, there is a new section of settings called Donations and Post Award System. The last 6 settings in this section detail the limits you can use for the system. Because credits awarded through this system come from thin air, you generally dont want to give free reign of it to just any group (except perhaps admin). So, if you want to give access to everyone but keep it from getting out of hand figure out the different ways to limit the system. Any limit with a value of 0 will prevent that group from accessing the system at all, and any limit with -1 value will cause it to be ignored - all 4 would be unlimited access overall (again, best for admin). Once a group has some level of access the icon will appear in threads with the ajax menu for them to award up to their defined limit (or as much as they want if they have unlimited).

sorry for asking silly question but does this work like vplaza...like members can gifts to each other and all...
|
shop system is not included. before you ask, go peruse vbcredits.com a bit first :D
|
Two things:
1. How can you add the banking and credits links to the custom user CP template used by the user cp icons modification? Could a future version use a template hook instead for these user cp links to make it workable with various modifications? 2. Progress on vB Commerce? |
