How to add thanks Button in threads with vbexperience

will this be sorted in the next version and when is it likely be released?, me and my staff are always going to be winning these awards and i would rather have my members win it.

Is it possible to calculate this experience in a board which is already running? Or does this mod just make sense in a new community ?

It works for running boards as well. You just have to recalculate, which is an option in the control pannel of this mod.

Anything that can be done to fix the image problem when the bar is 100% filled?
Look at the image attachments, zoom them up and you can see the problem is
there both in the default vB style, and in a dark custom style. It's just not so
noticeable in the default style, because of its lighter background color.

I just took out my forums trying to install this.

I am getting the following errors:

I uploaded the files to the appropriate directories and then was importing the main product "product_vbexperience3710.xml" when I got the above.

Woops... Rookie mistake! I missed an includes file.

I'm getting no problem when I install this. However I want to make everyone's stats start at "0" how do I do this? I am also having a problem with "Manage Awards" "Manage Custom Points" "Statistics: Level" and "Delete Statistics". It is simply loading my forum homepage. Is there something I'm missing?

i've the same trouble ... i've already asked to Marius if he can put .png images instead .gifs ...

I wish to personally thank you for having developped this vBExperience mods. It's a great and excellent tool for motivating users to do more on the board by letting them see their level of participation within the Community. :)

I installed this mods on my forum and it is perfect. Works without problems. :up:

I also wish to give you some feedback suggestion for improvement on one aspect of it: namely the point counting for attachment views.

As you know, attachments are posted by different users on a board and a given user is often encouraged to view (and provide comments on, etc...) attachment(s) posted by others.

The current version vBExperience 3.7.10 takes into account views on OWN attachments through the "Points for attachment views". It's a kind of reward for posting interesting attachments. This means that if a user nicknamed A click on attachments posted by user nicknamed B, C and D, the reward goes to B, C and D for having posted interesting attachments :up:. vBExperience in its current version does not encourage/motivate user nicknamed A to view attachments posted by other users . :(

It will be excellent if vBExperience mods could also give the possibility of rewarding points to user nicknamed A for viewing (taking the time to view or click on) attachments posted by B, C and D. This could be described as: "Points that are added for every view on OTHER USERS attachments".

Ok, looks like i just had the admincp in a wrong folder for the page loading issue, I guess I just need to know how to make everyones stats start at "0" and not include all past posts and what not. Any help?

That is not possible as vBulletin does not save who has viewed an attachment.

That is also not possible because many of the calculated data does not have a timestamp.

I'm currently polishing the 3.7.11 to release it as the GOLD version. It will be released after vBulletin 3.7 GOLD.

i don't understand one thing, why onto some boards there are some issues and onto others not ... for example i manage 2 boards, in the first i showed you the avatar error onto awards page ... BUT in the other board i haven't the same error, on the contrary it works CHECK HERE

There is a problem with the forum in a subdirectory instead of the root.

so when the forum is in the subdirectory runs correctly ... ok Marius waiting for new release :D

Not at all - if it is in a subdir it does not work by using predefined avatars. Using own avatar does work :)

uhm Marius, my forum is into subdir (mysite/board/index.php) and runs correctly, the other is into the root (mysite/index.php) and it doesn't work ...

I have seen a mods on "Who has read a Thread" by Paul M.

I don't know if vBulletin saves information on "Who has viewed a Thread", but would it be possible to adapt the mods by Paul M. to attachments? :) Or maybe I am just crazy? :erm:

As you would know, the Blog feature is also an important part of the board. Would it make sense and if yes, would it be possible to take into account Blog activities in one of the forecoming releases of vBExperience? :up:

You need to properly define your award system.

From your adminCP, go to vBExperience -> Manage Awards

For each of the defined award, ensure that at least one field is selected in the box:
"Fields
Select the fields you want to sum together"

Well, you should consider un-installing the mods until a closer look is given at the code by Phalynx himself.

Wow this mod is realy nice.

Have had a problem with Post count hungry ppl for ages on my forums. They all started +++++ing when we did cleanup and posts declined a bit.

With this mod I dont have to worry about that anymore :D

Possible yes, but this will not be part of vBExperience 3.7 - maybe in later versions.

Seems to be an outdated includes/class_xperience.php - please re-upload content of 3.7.10-ZIP to your server to the correct folders.
