I have vbulletin 3.7.2 installed. After upgrading to 2.8 I get en error in init.php on every page. Have no problem with 2.7.

You can't expect me to check every single little feature before releasing :p. Anyway, it was caused by one of my bug fixes.

If you have downloaded the 2.8 package prior to this post, please download it again and overwrite the previous installation (ie. follow the upgrade procedure).
First try the new package, if it still occurs, could you please post the error?

My last Bug with the internal Links is fixed now again - but now there is a new one that last Time comes with 2.6 i think.

Try clearing the cache by running this query:

Where can i see this? Don?t know - never have had any Problems with it before.

But please remember before you search the Problem in the wrong Way - this Bug was allready fixed by you in a older Version. With 2.7 everything works fine.

BTw - can we switch this Discussion to the 3.7 Release? ;)

Please download the 2.8 package and install again. The bug was actually caused by my other bug fix, not by what you thought.

Strange, this mod has been working well for months and suddenly stopped. So I downloaded the 2.8 version and reinstalled it, overwriting the old version.

Still don't work. I haven't a clue why it stopped working before or how to get it to work again. Using VB 3.6.10 PL 4.

Any ideas?

It may be a collision with another modification. Maybe try disabling all modifications except for vbAnonymizer.

I have been using the same mods together for months, have not added any new mods for months. I can't figure it out.

Do you have an idea what type mod would collide with vbanonymizer?

Any modifications that change text inside posts (ie. media embedding mods, etc.).

Below is a list of mods I have installed, as copied from my admin cp. I don't see any of them that modifies the text within the posts.

Again, I have used these same mods along with VBanonymizer for several months with no problems. Then VBanonymizer stopped working. I upgraded today to VB 3.6.11 PL1 but VBanonymizer still doesn't work:

Update: I installed the other anonymizer mod from this board and it worked fine. So I guess I will give up on fixing yours and use that one.

However I do like yours better because it has the redirect page, plus the countdown. Again, I used it successfully for months, but can't get it to work now. I uninstalled, reinstalled, but no joy.

I cannot get this mod to work either. All URLs in public forums remain the same and link directly to the site. No redirects at all. Running vB 3.6.11 PL1 and vBSEO 3.1.0. I have a handful of other mods if you need a list.

This is a desperately needed modification as we have already been hit with phish attempts wherein a user PM'd a bunch of mods with a link to a thread that "needed their attention." The visible link and the actual link were not the same. It took them to a site that looked identical to ours and asked for their credentials, after "logging in again" it redirected to the thread in question.

Obviously they were able to get a few mods credentials and cause some trouble on the board.

So we need a MySpace like redirect page telling members that they are LEAVING our site and should NOT enter any credentials. Your hack is PERFECT for this - if it only worked.

What are our support options?

You can actually see the streamlining even if you cannot code PHP. Look at the size of 2.9 (115.5 KB), compared to 2.8 (155.9 KB).

it is a nice hack but i have 2 problem with it and i cant read this 28 pages to see whether it was explaned or not

1: if you load your forum with WWW (www.forumname.com) then http://forumname.com is an external page ! and if you load your forum without WWW ( http://forumname.com) then

www.forumname.com is an external link

2: image that your footer of forum has a high-loading time script (for example a weak counter code ) there for you must stay to complet loading of it and whole page and then you will be redirected i think it is better there wont be any relevancy between perfermence of this hack and complete loading of the page

If you had a look at the options for the modification you would have found the solution...

Don't know what you're talking about, but you are free to modify my modification for your own personal use. You may not redistribute your modified version, or my modification in general.

Hey D, I started encountering this problem today with only certain threads from some members. I disabled the hack and the error stopped.

Will try the newer version as Im still using 2.7 on VB 3.6.5

This has been working fine on my 3.8.1 install for the last month then its decided it cant find the file when its in there.

So i tried uninstalling the product and removing the 2 files.

Though the hyperlinks still try to redirect after its uninstalled?

i have a small problem. after i've installed it, the Social Bookmarking stopped working properly. when i invistigated it. i found that the url is being changed to:

hey man, i moved my site to new domain, and most of my links in threads still got my old domain name :S

i tried to reinstall hack with the same version and after that upgrade to 3.0, i have even disabled hack and problem is still there, i dont know how to fix it, can you help me please?
