Is there a way to make donations that show up an Anonymous on the donation list?

How about a list of members who have donated without showing how much?

How about a GOAL number so we can show how close we are to the goal (maybe even a "thermometer" type graph)

i still get the smile on donate list maybe because is on test and none donates yet
and i get a error when i test the subscription on 1 year say that the link is not valid

Use months. Put 12 moths instead of 1 year and it will work.

I have downloaded ande made a upgrade to 4.0.
It is not activated for members yet.

Some questions:

1. I have made a manual subscription for a member but I can´t get the date/month/year to stay for the member. It still show d-m-y. What format shall I write? 09 08 07? 9 8 2007? (I have tryed everything)

2. If I have subscription for 12 month, what happens after 12 month?
Will he be "guest" or can I put him to another usergroup?

3. When I click on donation button an enter paypal, the amount field is empty.
Shouldn´t it be 15€ there if that´s what I have on my donation page?

4. What happens after a donation? What page will he be redirected to?
Any "Thank you" page?

5. Can I put more than one type of donation on the page?
Like:
1 subscription for membership 15€ for 12 month
1 donation for "good work" ??? €

I tried it, doesn't seem to work.. when I try to use this function and then check the user I applied it to.. doesn't seem like it applies properly.. checking further into the users account in admincp it shows the proper usergroup but it wont show up on their user page.. doing it manually works after..

Here is a question before when anyone would go and just check out the feature it would show up as them being donators. Does it still do it with this version, I guess my question is how does it know if the person donated or didn't.

I have a few different styles so I have tried to edit the navbar instead of using the "the phrase manager" way of changing the font color, so each style can be customized differently.

The Problem is the donate button will show in the navbar but when clicked it just reloads the same page and doesn't go to the donate page.

Is there anyway to have customized navbar colors based on the style?

<font> tags are used in phrase. So if you remove it from there then default color will be used and Donate link will look like all other links in navbar.

I have added $cybpaypal_donlist_link to my header template ( used in my ca_evo2 style instead of navbar ) but it doesn't give me the link to the donations page.

Any ideas ? I'm running vb 3.6.7 PL1

Simply create link to FORUM/misc.php?do=donlist and forget $cybpaypal_donlist_link.
Something like: <a href="misc.php?do=donlist">Donations</a>.
Add new table cell if needed (depending on where you wish link to appear).

Yes, it should be filled by amount you choose on forum Donate page if all works properly.
It finishes like all other payments done by PayPal.
Not possible with current version without manual edits.

I am trying to install this hack, but am encountering an issue. When I install the XML, the Paypal Donation menu in the Admin CP comes find, as does the donator itself on the forums. However, I can't alter any settings as it appears blank under "Donation Settings". From what I can tell this means I can't alter what Paypal account I'm using, the type of currency, fixed/unfixed donation types, etc. Please help!

how do you think about adding the following feature?

if somemone donates, then in the postbit a small icon like "donator" will show up.
the icon could then contain a link to the donators index, or the donate page, so users who click it can donate too.
and those who have donated are more visible in the forum. :)

That is what I am looking for too. But it could be my own custom image if I so wanted.

This can be added but I recommend you to create separate usergroup for Donators so they can have different colors, titles, icons, permissions, anything you wish...

i know that i could add such a "donator" image as "rank" for a "Donators Group" then.
BUT this rank image wouldnt be a link to the donations page.

haveing a simple small "donator" image appearing in postbit and postpit_legacy would be more then enought for our board. :)

Question.
I have some Premium Members that purchase a membership for 6 or 12 months.
I also wanted to set up a Donator user group for regular members that would like to donate.

What I can't figure out is if I have a Premium Member that uses the Donate link what will keep them from being moved to the donator user group?

Also is there anyway you can put a time limit on the donator usergroup?

If they donate this month have them put back in there normal usergroup after X amount of days
