Great hack! Everything works great, thanks for all your hard work.

I am considering this add on, however I have a few questions that I would like to ask...
1. Has anyone installed this on V 3.5.4 Does it run ok, no problems? 2. Is it possible to modify the code so that users can upload attachments, rather than point it to an image URL? 3. How many images can you upload or point to? Just one, or more? 4. I would like to have the actual auction up the top, followed by the thread which contains discussions about the auction itself underneath. Is this the case? Or is it just the ad? RJ |
Anyone have any news on this hack being upgraded to run on the latest version.
I tried to install it on 3.5.4 but one of the index pages is completely different. RJ |
Looking to see if this has been upgraded to work with 3.4.5
ANyone know?? |

I see: <iframe name="auction" ALIGN="CENTER" BORDER="0" FRAMEBORDER=0 HEIGHT=3000 WIDTH=100% MARGINHEIGHT=0 VSPACE=0 MARGINWIDTH=0 SCROLLING=0 src="$bboptions[bburl]/cgi-bin/auction/auction.pl"></iframe> Where is $bboptions[bburl] defined? Is that something I should need to edit? |
OK, I fixed the iframes problem, but found that the auction.cgi and admin.cgi scripts are the problem. They run, but produce gibberish.
I'm running VBulletin 3.5.4 0 is that the problem? Or do I have some settings wrong? The output from each looks largely like the CGI file itself starting after the #!/usr/bin/perl line. |

This modification says it is for 3.0.8 |
Are there any plans to get this program to work with VB 3.6.x soon?
Doug |
I am very interested in this for 3.5 , is there any other similar releases ?
|
Will this work with 3.6.2? I'm looking for it or something similar. Thanks!
