I am not alone with this problem, and the coder announced it he was rewriting
the uninstall functions. not to mention the countless code updates that seem to
crisscross between posts as the thread progresses.

I think that's is sufficient information to say this hack is not ready for this forum section.
Furthermore this thread is headed into a pointless argument.

If a hack maker admits his or her own hack is problematic and needs a rewrite
then there is plenty of reason to back that release into the beta section.

When I get my db back online and I can successfully uninstall the hack.
I will look into providing the proper documentation to troubleshoot it. At this point
I don't have that option.

I understand your point. You do have a valid arguement and I agree with what you have said about moderation and beta releases.

Be honest though, will this being in Beta really stop people from installing it? I for one do not usually install beta releases but there are quite a few who do. It is also clear that this is a Beta release in the original topic.

I don't know, while I agree with some of your points it is still modified at your own risk and recommended to install on a test forum first. That would have prevented your forum being down for the weekend. But as you said earlier, you've learned from this so it should all be good now.

I install the mod like your script description. I put the links to Uploader under the Quick Links. All Okay :)

But in den AdminCP i see no user-rights.

I have the two options in my admincp to view and add usergroups, but the view usergroup page just comes up as a blank blue screen (the bg of the admincp color). Anyone have any idea why it's doing this?

hi ppl sorry for the lack of support and slow replies i have been very busy i have now recoded this for version 3.5 i have it working on the beta but won't release it until the stable vrsion comes out. i have tried ti iron out all the bugs i can i am also re-writing the install script so it will be easily installed and uninstalled seem as that is where mst of the problems were if any1 wants any features add please let me know
