Sure. Go grab a copy of Carp RSS and use that. You can assign the output in the PHP include templates, then call it in an AdColumn box. :)

Although the columns space is visible, none of the content is?

I have not modified the templates, just the default LEFT RIGHT, if I copy out the template content and create a new page the content is visible. On the forums it is not??

Any ideas

Err.. if you can see the box, you would have to be able to see the content. It's all included in the same template?! Perhaps the font color is set to transparent or equivalent to your background color? Try viewing the source.

That needs to be "width:100%". You can change it in your Stylevars in the AdminCP.

Mine's 100% too, and I have the same display issues. :ermm:

I've even removed the code and left the template blank like it was originally and it still does it. Any ideas?

I had a similar problem. In a Reply or post new thread window the smilies were misaligned - sort of pushed into the ad column area and those in that area not visible. I tried all of the suggestions and fixes offered by magnus and nothing worked.

Then, just as a thought, I set viewable smiles to 5 per row and that resolved it. :)

Just thought I'd share my fix for others who may have the problem.

Great hack!!

Use [high]<br />[/high] before the code.

I ahve that at the top of the code already. I tried adding several more and while the ad column started lower, the navbar didnt go all the way across - it just left blank space.........

WHat im looking to do is have the navbar all the way across and have the ad column begin even with the block below -- here is what i have now....

Any progress on version two? I'd be willing to be the first to betta test it for ya :)

In either version, will you be able to add links or pics easily or will it be kind of hard? Also, will the colum with be adjustable, and lastly can you add like a few titles. you know like car of the month, then under list the car of the month, the babe of the month, then sponsors.

let me know man, thanks

Edit* also, does anyone have any sample sites of what I'm talking about?

Yes that is something I would like to see too. Something to do with the header template? The adcolumn code inserted @ the end , maybe it should be included somewhere in between (tables) ?
