DragonByte Tech 02-24-2014 11:50 PM

Hi everyone,

This week we have the second beta of DragonByte Classifieds (v1.1.0 Beta 2) which includes a number of bug fixes (including details of patched Beta 1 bugs) and a new feature: The ability to choose what type of notifications are used on your site, i.e. whether to send PMs and Emails or not.

The full changelog for v1.1.0 Beta 2 can be found below.

Remember, we have installed the latest Beta of Classifieds here on DBTech. We have created some 'fake' items and have left PayPal in Sandbox mode so that no real money changes hands allowing anyone to test how the system works. We look forward to your feedback. Go here for the latest listings: View Listings - DragonByte Tech | vBulletin Mods & Addons.

To create a PayPal Sandbox account you need to head over to this page: https://developer.paypal.com/webapps...tions/accounts. Once you login with your regular PayPal account you can then create a sandbox testing account to use to 'purchase' the items on our Classifieds.

Bug Fixes And Issue Fixes:
Fixed: MySQL error when viewing a thread in TapaTalk (In Beta 1 PL1)
Fixed: Watchlists items of other users being displayed for the user viewing the page (In Beta 1 PL1)
Fixed: Issue with random adverts not being correctly randomized (In Beta PL1)
Fixed: Images bleeding through drop down menus
Fixed: Issue which caused every bid from a listing to receive a 'item won' PM/email

Additions To Product From Feature Requests Or Just Something Else Added:
Feature: New Setting to enable choice of email or PM notifications, or the option to send both types or neither type[/QUOTE]

Thanks for the update first of all Matt,

Yes they want a thread-looking discussion that is in the same page of the listing. It'll actually help users to check on item history in the future. My forum is a car forum and we do have parts being sold right and left, It'd really help users identifying the price range of every part.

Cheers dude!

This might be down to using rewrites. What version of vB are you using? If you have a folder on your server with the name classifieds it might be possible that it's going to that folder instead of using the rewrites correctly.

Sorry that was it, is there a manual for this product? You could spend a couple of weeks setting this up..

Matt

I can't seem to find where I could edit these questions, we would be selling live coral, fish etc

The ability to deactivate parts of the form is a Pro only feature. User's can simply leave them blank, or you can edit the options for Conditions/Returns to feature just one option. :)

See if the latest beta fixes the issue and if not post back here and I'll take another look at it.
