Then I don't think it is a issue with the mod, as this uses standard vB phrases. I am not sure what the issue would be.

ozzy47 11-30-2014 10:25 AM

I just tried it on my site, and it shows the letters á or ó fine with the tilde, so I am not sure what is wrong, but it might be some setting in the language settings.

I search in xml original translation to spanish (made by zucco) for view if contain any configuration or similar, in her xml not success this issue with tildes and not have any specific config for this.
I made translation using the original xml in english, only the phrases, its very strange.

If I go to admincp, search phrases, product this, and insert any phrase with tilde, and then, save the phrase in spanish (correct the character with tilde), then, appears well in admincp, but I need save the phrase.

Regards.

If you want, sent to you the translation and try if show letters fine with the tilde, if in your forum shows fine, the problem is in my forum.

Where did you get your Spanish language pack from?

gnrx 11-30-2014 10:36 AM

I don't remember (I think vbhispano), but this other forum in spanish not exist today.

ozzy47 11-30-2014 10:42 AM

Yeah I would really not rather install anything I don't know where it came from. But you could attach the language xml here and I will take a look.

gnrx 11-30-2014 11:23 AM

I would like to attach the xml corrected, so that any user could confuse.

I think, I can download only the translation (languages and phrases and download the translation into spanish of this product) but the users need 2 xml, 1 of product and other of translation...I think its a bad idea.

If you go to ACP --> Languages & Phrases --> Language Manager, next to the Spanish language you will see three links, Edit Settings Delete Download.

Click on Download, in the next screen do not change any settings, then click on Download again.

I view how solved this issue :)

In the xml of product, not type (for example): "m?dulo", I need type
Code:

m & # 2 4 3 ; d u l o
and appears fine :)

But now, I need know the codes for differents letters with tilde.
