Ok I am not to sure where exactly I should put that line... I am not that advanced at this stuff but I am trying to learn.. sorry about this.. I can find confi.php on a search in the files at the host but a good few config php files show up..

The file you had to edit to be able to install vB.

Open config file with wordpad
At the very top where you see <? add the code after that.
Save and re-upload config file.

YOUR FORUM ROOT/includes/config.php right after this line

Ok when I go into the CP... the product button.. when I click it i just get a white page and the same with all the different ones under it like...manage Products and Plugin Manager ???


same with the Styles and Templates button....? when i click on them I get nothing...

the options button is working and i can see the panel where I can turn off and on the snow in the -360 pane... is there any way i can delete it from there ?

maybe restart your server because what i told you too do would make all add on not work so if it was my mod then that would fix the problem you can remove this code from the config.php file define("DISABLE_HOOKS", 1);

ok I will do that ... so how do I go about restarting the server please? again I am not sure how to do that.. if you could point me in that direction I am ok once I am shown lol...

who can only do that if you are the host what type of hosting do you have?
