I have not been able to use this on 5.1.6 or 5.1.7

Brad Padgett 06-08-2015 09:48 PM

I opted out of this for future vbulletin versions.

I wish you would update this to work on 5.1.7

This is not true. We will absolutely be looking at updating this modification to work with vB 5.1.7.

That being said, unfortunately vB5 version updates sometimes take a lot of time, and the percentage of our customers running vB5 is very small, in comparison to vB4 or even vB3. This means that it's harder for us to allocate resources to provide an update for our vB5 mods as opposed to developing new features for the vB3/vB4 versions or indeed other projects.

For this reason, until vB5 is stable enough that these breaking changes do not frequently happen, all our vB5 mods will remain in Alpha status.

Under no circumstances does this mean we are abandoning vB5 or that we do not intend to support newer vB5 versions, it just means that you cannot upgrade vB5 and expect all modifications to work out of the box.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Updating Version Number To: 1.0.0
?Altered Table: administrator
?Altered Table: user
?Altered Table: usergroup
?Created Table: dbtech_thanks_entry

Updating Version Number To: 1.1.0

then nothing

This means it's trying to alter the node table, which can take a long time.

but I cant turn the features on I just have

*[dbtech_thanks_manage_buttons]*

when I click that says invalid 0

This means the installer did not complete successfully due to the aforementioned issue. Please re-import the XML file, then click Repair Cache.

You might as well try to get it to work with vb 5.1.8 which I am certain it does not yet, since 5.1.8 is out now. Thanks.

Haiiii..

I wanna ask about Thanks - Feed. I bought the pro version.
I supposed to use it as Top Like report for some contest.
The contest was input in comment post.
If like button clicked in comment post it will appear as 'No Title'. We don't know whats clicked but just know who click the like button.

We need to know what was clicked, such as the title of the post/ comment or the username.

One thing that made me curious is one of our user's seems have title and appear in Thanks-Feed. I try how it can be happen but I'm not found it.

Can you help me explain how to make the title in comment that would appear in Thanks Feed?

I wait for your feedback soon. Thanks before.

Could you elaborate on this step in the readme, please?

2. CHMOD the following folders to 0777
/core/packages/dbtechthanks/vbactivity_type

Everything else looks really simple :)
