With this plugin disabled, GCBOS displays all the messages again. It's like the lytebox.css or lytebox.js file strips the first '[' characters out of it.

Really sucks because this is the only image resizer for vb4 right now so I need to have it installed.

I have the default javascript and css that came with lytebox I did not edit them. except for the css for the path of the images.

I can tell you that this mod is not striping any code from your shoutbox.
It only ads code, it does not strip anything. It only ads code in specific locations which is the postbit and the blog post. It could be a css issue or even javascript, but you will have to get the person that made the shoutbox to alter his code as this is all default lytebox code which is used all around the internet. I am sure the guy that made lytebox is not going to change his code to work around one small mod for vBulletin.

I have no intent to change the code in this mod to work around the shoutbox.

BBR-APBT - My only "Wish" for this modification would be to allow members to specify the dimensions they want resized in their UserCP. My theme is fluid so it really depends on peoples monitors..

Updated: v1.01 - Added option to turn off Lytebox and fix for vB4: SuperCharged mod

I tried to add support for the vBcms, but they still have no hooks in place for the cms articles.

I Could make it happen right now but it would require file edits. It would make me have to support members a lot more cause many members will have errors altering code.

So I will wait till Monday when they release vB 4.0.1 and see if they added any hooks.

Sorry to the CMS users.

I don't plan on adding this because I used fixed templates and I would not want my users setting there own sizes.
Plus I do not provide support to people who have not clicked install.

Will this modification cause any sort of page "snap"?

In other words, will it load the full image then re-size it quickly afterwords (and a quick snap down is visible)?

Or is it done in a more eloquent way?
