Bingo. I think I found the problem. I'm not using database as file storage method for vbgallery. I'm using file storage instead.
Can you possibly modify your importer tool for such? As a matter of fact, it would be nice if you can add that feature to your own mod as well. It lightens the load on the database queries in the end for larger sites. I'll pm you a screenshot of my file structure for vbgallery. Its sort of complex. |

You can't generate a thumbnail from a video w/o the use of ffmpeg/mencoder installed on your server.
So you are spot on with your possible/not easy statement :D |
