Don't work with post in RSS :(

Can you help me make tag for post via RSS

Thanks for this works great.

Is there anyway to make it so when the Auto Tagger runs it does not post in the shoutbox?

Just thought I'd add that this product causes the 'Rebuild Thread Information' function to break. I'm running vb 3.8.2. If I disable this product/plugins, the function works fine.

This is a great mod. Thanks!

i also have the problem that it does not allow me to merge 2 threads into one. when i attempt to do this my site just hangs and the action is never completed. however, when i turned the plugin off, it works fine.

any idea of what is causing this and what i must do? love the plugin, but hate not being able to use it because of not being able to merge threads/discussions.

Can anyone confirm this? I see its been asked 4 or 5 times but no acknowledgment.

Just want to know if it doesn't exist or if mine isn't working. Either way is fine - Just want to know.

I just ran into this and it looked like a memory error. Possibly not an autotagger error at all. I just lowered the thread count and it ran fine.

Is it possible for this plugin to only add tags if they are already on my tag list? I see there is an option to remove custom tags, but I don't want them added in the first place. There are specific tags I would like to use and having hundreds of tags to sift through makes this system difficult to maintain. I want my tag system to archive threads with specific topics I select rather than something comprehensive that ensures there is a tag on every thread ever made on the forum.

I just tested thread merging on my forum and I'm not having any problems with it. I'm using version 3.8.2. Sorry this doesn't answer your question, but I wanted to inform others that this problem isn't necessarily universal with this plugin in case they were hesitant to try the plugin over this. Hopefully someone else with more knowledge than me can provide a solution for you.

There seems to be something not quite right with the exclude usernames option. I have it set to yes, but I still see a lot of usernames being auto-tagged.

In addition, if the tag list gets too long the thread crashes, especially when attempting moderator actions. The cause appears to be a timeout in the autotagger (> 30 secs response time).

I am looking into both issues to see what I can find and how much if any might be the fault of my site, but just thought I would mention them here, as I have only recently run into a thread big enough to cause these problems.

I believe what happened was a lot of small threads got merged, and each small thread brought with it tags, and the posts all have titles (converted from the original thread title).

I wonder if you used the 're:' option for posts it would cause a similar issue.

Anyway, more as I learn more.

I tried lowering the thread count and it made no difference. I also increased the memory allocation for PHP and MySQL to 128MB and it still failed.

As soon as I disabled this plugin it worked fine.
