can I use this on my sidebars on the forum index ? (no VBA)

This still works for vb 3.8.4 and the latest CMPS.

Does anyone know how to add any of the below:
  • blog categories
  • groups
  • threads from a specific forum
  • Photopost categories
  • Link and Download Manager categories.
EDIT: This does not work on IE8
