This is a cool hack, I'm going to give it a try. :)

this is not working for me, running 3.6.5, I installed and reinstalled, 3 times, uploaded the files, just to make sure does the whole folder "upload" go in the site folder "upload" or do I install the three separate folders admincp, images, includes, into the site folder.
I have tired both ways I have imported the .xml file but I cannot set permission to stamp, and have it stick, I chose YES and save but when I go back in it's set back to NO so no stamping I have removed this feature for now. Thanks |

you should install the three separate folders admincp, images, includes, into the site folder and be sure there CHMOD ara ( 755 ) Try It and it should work |
I took the three separate folders that you have in your zip file, these I uploaded to my server, in the area with a folder called "upload", so now in the "upload" folder on the server I have your three folders, admincp, images, includes, all have the correct permission 755, but I still cannot get it to work, I set permissions to YES, but once you go back in to look, it's back at NO.
The admins are part of no delete or modification rules , but the rest of the mods do not have this restriction, yet the YES does not hold for them either. any other ideas I will try one more time.... |
