Okay, i've installed the latest version of arcade on my fresh new forums. I've only allowed Registered users and Admins the ability to view and play in the arcade.

Problem is, one of the users goes into the arcade (in IE7) and can sometimes play games, and sometimes cant. Occasionally getting the message "The administrator has disabled playing games for your usergroup". I've remote connected to the PC of this user and tried doing it myself, and it does indeed happen religiously.

I've read a few people having the issue, and most are suggesting it's a permissions thing for the arcade - but im 100% that permissions are set correctly. They must be, otherwise nobody else on the forums would be able to play!

Has anyone resolved this issue yet?

Can someone else who's running the latest version of the arcade try the following EXACTLY as shown....

1. Cleared your internet cache, cookies etc

2. Logged onto your forum

3. Go straight to the arcade

4. Try to play any game

It should fail with "The administrator has disabled playing games for your usergroup"

I just installed this. I've been a longtime user of v3 Arcade, mostly because it looks a lot nicer and has templates to make editing the looks of it a lot easier. I'll probably go back to v3 Arcade once the new version gets released.

I prefer the looks of v3 Arcade because you can see the list of games without having to scroll down. With ivProArcade, you have to scroll down through all the high scores and new games and stuff just to get to the games. In v3 Arcade, all that is in the right column.

Where can I get a file with a BUNCH of good/competitive games for my forum? I have the defaults, but want a big file that I can easily upload and install on my forum.

How can I change this phrase:

I would like it to say something more friendly and inviting... I searched in phrases but couldn't find it...

Unfortunately, phrases aren't impremented. Boy do I wish they were... Anyway, there is a PHP file that you have to edit. I forget what its called, but just look in the download. iirc, its in a folder with a bunch of language files.

Look for err_noplay in forums/arcade/lang/lang_Arcade_en.php

Hi any games that are played on my forums get this message when trying to submit the score

"This score was not submitted from the game. Your score will not be saved."

Found a spare </div> tag right above $footer in the ARCADE template. I deleted it from mine, I don't know why its there.

I am getting a strange error message when I click on the alphabetically listings - any letter I click on and it comes up with:

I have used this mod for over a year now without a problem. I recently upgraded to 3.7 and now 3.7.1 - does anyone know what happened here or how to resolve this issue?

I have a question, don't know if it has already been answered and I'm sorry if it has, but I don't have the time to sort through 290 pages to find out. Is there any type of add-on or modification that offers support for FireFox, Opera and other browsers other than IE. A lot of my users are experiencing blank pages when they go to start a game.

I changed servers. Same database. Scores were retained. Now most of the games will not load. Anyone have any ideas?

HI I just removed one game, and it blew away my leaderboard stats? Anyone have a fix for this? Anyway to bring back this back.

Same here.

I installed a multiplayer chess game, but it would not connect to the server, so I uninstalled it and it blew away our leaderboard stats as well.

Also, since then, we get these new sporatic errors when uploading scores:

"Could not access game table"

When a tourney started it didnt send out a notification telling people, even though i have that option on

I have many V3 Arcade games
I've uploaded them into the ZIP directory and installed them. They seem to work fine. I'm assuming it's okay If I do this right?
