Nam, it has nothing to do with his hack, it's a well established issue with the new version of vb and IE. Search the vbulletin.com site for more info.

The release includes a plugin for forumhome which patches any forums that are set up as redirects to LDM or LDM categories. For links to the base category, it shows the latest submission. For links to individidual categories, it shows also the number of entries. See image

DAMNED! Why didn't you tell us this will erase the database?! I did an upgrade from 2.0.5 and all 65 entries are gone! :speechless:

I didn't tell you this because it doesn't and should not have done so for you. Did you configure 2.0.5 to use a different table prefix?

I also warned everyone with every release to take a backup.

For the record, I've just tested an upgrade from 2.0.5 and it works just fine for me. Let me know if you can give some more information.

Andrew, instead of having LDM patch to a separate "LDM" forum on forumhome, (I have enough subforums), is there any way of just adding code that says how many new subbmissions there are to the LDM area? Kind of like how the welcome panel on forumhome tells you how many new posts and new threads there are??

I'll give this some thought - I think it should be straightforward.

Hi!

It is possible that Guest`s cannot see the links Database?

I`ve there click on Link Database, they become a message that says: You have not rights to entry.

Yes, this depends on the permissions you set on the LDM admin/permissions page. Take a look particularly at the can_access_link permission.

If I'm missing your question, send me more information (e.g. your web site and an account with admin privs) and I'll gladly take a look for you.

Great job on this program. I was wondering though how I would be able to show the new downloads using vbportal. I noticed it had the code for vbadvanced. Is there a way?

thanks

I'm sure there is - I don't know anything about vbportal - does it tie into VBulletin's plugin system or does it use a mdoule approach like VBadvanced?
