when I put the code in the navbar exactly where it states to put it, I get two "profiles" links. How do I fix this issue? Picture is below again.

Same error here.. I am not upgrading.. my zoints local installation was fresh.. anyone have the blocks.php from 1.0.3 in the meantime??

There was a format error in the file mirzonni had, which one of our engineers spotted, corrected and uploaded a new file. Did you download in the last two or three days or prior to that? The reason I ask is because we updated the zip files with the right version. If you are still having problems, please open up a ticket at network.zoints.com and we'll take a look.

I don't know where the double arrows are coming from, open up a ticket at network.zoints.com with a temporary admin account with style permissions if you would like us to look around. AS for the double profile links, do you have automatic template edits on? If so, either remove the manually added profile code you did or turn off the template edits (I would only recommend that if you want to manually insert the rest of the template edits.)

yes i re-downloaded the 1.0.4a file yesterday and replaced the blocks.php.. it still gave me the error.. So, i found the 1.0.3 version of the block.php file and replaced the 1.0.4 one.. works perfect now

Yeah, I just assumed that he did that. Thanks for the help Freesteyelz. :)

engedi05, did you install the vBulletin Product so that when a profile is clicked, you are redirected to the Zoints one automatically?

- Reid

What Vbulletin Product are you referring here? It is cool if when a profile is clicked, then it is automatically redirected to Zoints one automatically.

Two profile, zoints and vb. Why not integrate the zoints into vb one? It would be better.

You really need to open up a ticket. The blocks.php file is the reason for the security patch and thus why it was needed so that file needs to be replaced. If you open up a ticket, one of our engineers can hopefully sort it out with the newest version for you.

There are two download links here for Zoints Local, one for the Zoints Local files itself and one for the vBulletin product entitled "zointsprofile 2.1.4.zip" that product allows you to have it so when a profile is clicked, it is automatically redirected to the Zoints profile. If you haven't downloaded it yet, do so and simply install the product (you can manage the options from vB Options in the Admin CP.)

As for integrating the profiles into each other, a lot of the elements are integrated into Zoints, such as the user's avatar, post count, post and thread links, join date, and for those that it works for, the custom field block (that is at dev.zoints.com.) And you can always turn on the Forum Profile page in the ZAdmin so that users can click to see the vB Profile still from the Zoints Profile (like if a user neglected to update his AIM/YIM/Etc info onto Zoints Local.)

Hi flapjack,

I think we're about to finally get this sorted. I am not a coder so I don't know all the details, but there were some formatting errors discovered (thanks to a help of a member) and the team is working hard at getting the correct version out ASAP.

I know it is possible to translate, but I have never done it so I would suggest posting at network.zoints.com (as well as searching there) to see if anyone can point you in the right direction. Heck, someone might even be willing to help you if they too desire a Turkish version. And feel free to share it back with the community if you do complete it.

1.04b was announced as being available yesterday, when can we expect the update? I have the line 35 error.

Strike3ForumsMH 09-27-2007 10:41 AM

Hi optrex,

I don't want to give a firm date, it's just not my place, but we're sending the new version out for some quick testing with a few and will be updating here and at our end of things as soon as we know these problems are sorted out. Keep checking back for the next few days, should it not be up by then I (or someone else) will have likely updated the situation but I don't think we'll need to do that.

Thanks for your patience.
