I am unable to post links or IMG tags in the chatbox. The status stays stuck at posting message and the chatbox doesnt refresh until I refresh the page manually. It does this in either mini or full mode for me. TIA for any help :)

Not related to Chatbox, but you might want to tick off the "Add Navbar Link" option to keep your navbar consistent
Save, take a deep breath, and enjoy!

Setting it up this way makes it active in your vbaCMS portal page and your forum home page. If you don't want it on the forum home page, take out the 'index' option for 'show on pages' in the chatbox settings.

I followed your steps but the chatbox will not show up. Any ideas? Other blocks show up fine.

Can't tell you anything for sure, no. I'd suggest for troubleshooting that you go into the chatbox options, leave the 'Show ChatBox on pages' section blank, make sure that 'Show ChatBox in templates' includes 'FORUMHOME,adv_portal', and that 'Position on page' is set to 'below navbar'. If you do these things, the chatbox should show up at the top of your vbadvanced portal, under the navbar, which would mean that all the underlying code is working. From there, you just need to start tweaking settings to find out where your other problems might lie.

mine WAS working, it hasnt for the last couple of days:confused:
