My overhauled version for vb4 is being wrapped up :) it was in development for six months. I doubt my version will work together with the vbcredits.com one. I think your projection for mine under dbtech is accurate, but bear in mind it looks and acts nothing like the ancient version at the top of this thread here.

As DarkWaltz has already mentioned, our version will be the only one with him at the helm for the entire development, and will be the only one with him updating/upgrading it. the pixelFXstudios one will be with whatever coders PixelFXstudios is able to find. I firmly expect our Pro version to be significantly more feature rich than any competing points system, and for our Lite version to be competitive with anything anyone else has released. We plan on releasing both Lite and Pro at the end of the month, and are confident that everyone will be blown away by what the new version has to offer =) Iain |

Any guestimate on release time frame...will it be preceded by an open or semi-open beta? |

If you have any more questions feel free to ask here, or via PM/DragonByte Tech. I can go into more detail on certain things elsewhere than i can on vb.org for obvious reasons. Hope you like what we've come up with ^.^ Iain |
ofcourse the danger with dbtech version is the classic disappearing act ;)
you pay, they go, and then come back a few years later with a price hike and a sob story to make mother theresa cry ;) |
vbcredits.com full versions will always been support on our site and we're working on full updates for 4.0.x as well. We're fully committed to supporting our clients including free upgrades to all 4.0.x for those that bought products through us and will continue to support all new and old products. We also have lite versions of our products which will be posted at vbulletin.org to meet with the site rules here.
Darkwaltz4 is no longer staff with our firm aka PixelFX Studios we had new programmers setup to carry on development of our systems, however and we have wished him to the best in his new position with dbtech. We are not affiliated in any way with dbtech, although we've offered any of their users a 10% discount on products at vbcredits.com, just pm me for info. We've read the posts above, and all we ask is that users be act professional so we all can release scripts that support end users as best as possible. Thank You |
Thanks for the reassurance of the ongoing support for vBcredits Robert!
I always go by the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" mentality and I love the vBcredits mod and addons that have been created (and will be in the future!) :D |
Darkwaltz4 is a very good programmer I'm sure he'll come up with something at his new job to wow the masses. While we continue to support our vbcredits clients.
