Woo Hoo! Now that`s the best news I`ve seen today that`ll shut-up my whinging users... (geez, you change a few colours and you`d think all hell had broken lose *L*)

I didn`t realise InsideThePixel had updated the Geltech Skin for vB3, anyways looks like you have a mixture of text and image links, it looks to me like the dropdown menu has been removed in that style and replaced with buttons on the postbit (ala vb2) the instructions for installing the arcade where for adding the challenge invitation to the dropdown menu... as you don`t have a dropdown menu you`ll need to create a "challenge" button and edit the link from a text link to an image one..

It`s not really an arcade problem, just an issue with your style.

Has anyone installed RC4 yet and found out if the arcade still works perfectly with it? I don't personally think i'll be bothering with RC4, unless some major bug pops up, it's too close to Gold now. :)

Basically, in a week or so I'm going to be taking a day off to get a lot of game conversions done... expect to have 20 or so released. Will do the same thing every few weeks, shoudn't take long to build up a huge collection of titles. :)

I'm running RC4 with the arcade installed with no problem.

May I ask what your upgrade process was? I'm terrified to upgrade to RC4 without knowing what to do to keep the Arcade running.

1) Made the necessary vB arcade code changes in the new RC4 php files
2) uploaded the files and overwritten the existing ones on my server
3) installed vB

John - can I clarify something? I see usergroup permissions are set for the whole arcade, but did you state you are going to make them settable on a game by game basis?

Does anyone know anything about Apache2's mod_deflate module and MSIE & swf-files. It seems that if you are using Apache2 & mod_deflate (mod_gzip when Apache1.x) MSIE doesn't download swf-files.

I'm using that combination and V3 Arcade-hack does work with Mozilla, Opera etc but MSIE doesn't download any games. That gamescreen loads fine but the swf-file itself is not downloaded. If I right click in that white rectangle it says that Movie is not downloaded. Then if I disable mod_deflate / turn off 'Use http1.1 through proxy connections' from IE's advcanced settings games work just fine.

So does anyone know how to set up mod_deflate so that it doesn't either compress swf-files at all or so that when a request is mabe by MSIE (BrowserMatch) it doesn't compress in that case.

Simple. Yet effective!
