Let me explain, I just converted from phpbb to vbulletin. Now, when you first log into the site through the vbadvanced index page, it says you have to change your password because its old. ETC ... so when you click from there, it doesn't take you to /forums/ and then the link... it instead takes you .com/link ...

Yes you are i think its one of our 1.1 errors that we have you can try reporting it at vBadvanced.com :)

When I close the Board in the AdminCP, is the Portal still open or not ?

When you set your board to OFFLINE in admincp, portal is NOT viewable.

Yea for some reason it wasn't working right,

News shows on the portal page but not the Polls. I have the forum id number set correctly and can't find anything in the settings that would have it disabled. Any idea what could be the problem?

I figured it out. Polls show on the left side column, not beneath the news.
Duh! How embarassing!!

If you follow the instructions posted on http://www.v3arcade.com/, the arcade news will work correctly. Make sure that if you've changed to a different custom block, you change the directions accordingly. It worked fine for me on the first try :)
