what for ?

but anyway you would have to manually remove the files your have uploaded ,
just uninstalling the product.xml does not completely remove a product

i think thats what you are asking?

Negative all files removed see image bellow

Very cool! Any thought on allowing you to link an existing thread w/ a video, rather than creating a new one?

I think expanding the ability to add videos to the top of a chosen thread would be a great 'next step'.

Another step I'd like to see is an integration to Calendar events system.

Any of these sound good?

I'm wondering if it will be possible to add locally hosted files?

This mod offers rudimentary support for the hosting of local media. An administrator can upload a media to the /customVID/ (default) directory; then add the media to the library using the URL code of "localvideo:filename" or "localaudio:filename". Media hosted locally will be displayed using JWPlayer, but will not provide meta data, so that kind of information will need to be entered manually.

Alternatively, use Blip.tv (no watermark) and you've got a solid host that's free.

Thats fine cause no other users would need to upload videos except the admin with ftp access. Is there also support or would i be able to add bbcode for avi files too?

I have a question: Is there a way to disable the Menu Tab without killing off the sub-navbar menu? I'm trying to make a customized menu for my site, but it's kind of difficult to keep functionality without having duplicate tabs.

i see what your talking about now, im not sure but i think that is all in the style now. and like custom templates its always going to be there. i guess this is a good example for having a clean install of your style with no custom templates or modifications.

It wont hurt anything, leave them if you have an xml of the style you use before you installed, you can just delete your style and upload your new one it would be gone I'm sure. making child styles will carry all that over to future style created off the one your using also.

I am probably wrong but i have never been able to manually delete custom templates from a style, an i guess those style vars are the same way

Jaxel 06-12-2010 03:47 PM

harleyparts, you can delete custom templates from a style by REVERTING them. Since their default option is to NOT EXIST, reverting to the default option will delete the entry. I have no idea with the stylevars though, as we all know they are a little buggy.

The next version of this mod will revamp the local hosting system. I would recommend waiting on that before going all in with local file hosting.
