What about search indexing? Do posts in group areas show up in search results (and do they adhere to the permissions on the site)?
|
No it doesn't belong to the vbulletin search at all.

Is anyone using this successfully on a site with more than 5k users? |
Hey, buddy! I've been with your project for a long time and have donated 100 to it already. I'm willing to do another 100 if you could add attachments to it. That would make it absolutely perfect for me! What do you think? Is it possible?
:) Oh -- and I'd love to see it post a simple "There's been a post to the X group" in a specified thread in the main VB forum. |
Really like the product. But a couple of suggestions:
In the group category list. Should have the ability to list the number of groups in each category. For example: Entertainment (13) In the listing of groups, should have some stats there..number of members, number of posts, last activity date, group owners avatar or photo, owners name linked to profile, group creation date. In the postdisplay...would be nice if users could subscribe to threads. From the Site Admin side, would be awesome if the admin could check a box and it would automatically create a Forum for groups, with the group categories as sub-forums and the groups listings within each category would link out to the group itself. That would make it tightly integrated into vb and allow group info to be included in search results. |
get erro here
Invalid SQL: ALTER TABLE `usergroup` ADD `grpspermissions` INT(10) UNSIGNED DEFAULT 0 NOT NULL; MySQL : Duplicate column name 'grpspermissions' |
Members can't seem to edit their posts in groups! (I don't know if this was a mistake or not! I checked the forum permissions and everything seems to be square.) It would be nice if group leaders could choose whether or not to allow their members to edit posts - otherwise leave the default permissions based on the vbusergroups.
